Tichborne Arms in Winchester

Visited this lovely pub for 1st time last night and were really impressed. It was a lovely atmosphere with a great landlord and friendly staff both who gave great service. The food was excellent with vegetables grown by the landlord himself. Delicious. Will definitely be back.

Beer is very very good. The food is also good, and is nice and fresh too (not something that is true for other pubs in the area).The team here are very kind and keen to help, particularly with Covid. Lovely traditional local country pub. Friendly staff and great good food. Off the beaten track so you have to travel to get there. No music players or tv’s so the atmosphere is relaxed. Wood burner keeps everyone cosy on a cold night. A free house so a great selection of drinks and ales straight out the barrels.

Lovely place on a cycling route with tasty food and polite staff. You can sit inside or in the garden. There are two cute calm dogs roaming around.

Just wonderful. Loved the ambience, friendly staff, the cosiness. Just fabulous, can't wait to go back. Oh and if you like good beer it's a free house so all good 'proper' beer. Excellent wine list too.

Very pleasant thatched rural pub. Dog friendly, with 2 resident dogs. Had excellent Sunday roast, both in terms of quality and quantity. Good service and beer - a real find!

Great really characterful thatched country pub. Very helpful staff and great food. It is particularly dog friendly and has a dog bar in the garden. Thoroughly recommend.

A really warm welcome by landlords and dogs. The menu is not extensive, but the menu provided is good wholesome local produce. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We were driving around and looking for a pub when we saw the brown sign. It's a little treasure in the middle of nowhere. Worth a visit with booking advisable at weekends.

The quintessential English country pub. Good beer, good food, great location.Staff are friendly and welcoming.Cycled here with my two young boys, even the chef came out to chat to them.Lovely beer garden.

What a find, go in the opposite direction of everybody else and find a place with really good real ale choices, really well cooked good food with smaller portions for those with that need, plenty of parking and very pleasant good service.
