The sandwiches at Tiffin's are lovely. Served on vintage china plates, the bread is always fresh and full as full can be with tasty fillings. We love the teacup full of crisps served with it too! They have an amazing range of teas 🍵 too. Better than any chain such as Nero or Costa coffee shop. They also have gorgeous sponge cakes! The carrot cake is my favourite, soft, light and nor a sultana in sight - perfect 👌The only thing that let's Tiffin down are it's traybake type cakes, which tend to be hard and dry ☹ a shame as everything else is splendid.

I've been here a few times now and have always had a good experience. They do a very good range of cakes. They could maybe do a bigger choice of vegan. The staff are very friendly and helpful. Putting up with us turning up in the last half hour before they closed. But they were still happy and helpful.

I am hoping the owner will look at this review. The service was appalling. We eventually approached a waitress to order. We waited by the please wait here sign. No smile,no greeting. Just staff training required. We visited yesterday,Sunday,I understand they are young and experienced but I hope the owner takes note and supports her staff...

Went here today. First went to the takeaway ice cream entrance and waited...and waited...and waited. No one came. So I went to the main entrance and we were rather grudgingly shown a table. Where we waited...and waited...and waited. The waitstaff were not over busy and were milling about but no one came to offer a menu or take our order. I asked (twice!) if we were supposed to go to the counter to order and was assured someone would be with us. No one came. I stayed for longer than I would usually have done as I'd promised my daughter an ice cream, but eventually we had to admit defeat and left.

Absolutely must visit this charming delightful friendly tea rooms. My daughter took me on the 27th july and pre booked us a table for 1pm, for afternoon tea.Oh my what a delight, everything from the greetings, table service and the extremley fresh afternoon tea was an experiance i will never forget. Much better then the Ritz in london, at a fraction of the cost. Most enjoyable experiance and afyernoon.Massive thank you to Christine for her attentiveness and friendly smile, such lovely service and last but not least for the absolutely amazing Ginger and lemon cake that had just literaly been made, it was heaven.Thank you all so much. Will see tou all again soon. From Sarah and her mum

Lovely little tearoom on the Alresford high street. I had the Watercress afternoon tea but they allowed me to change to the egg and watercress sandwich to another on their menu - it'd be nice if this had been an option from the off, but no complaints considering they allowed for this anyway.I loved the selection of teas also (there are about 2-3 pages of various blends and flavours); it really made it feel like these guys know their tea. Next time i go i will be bringing back some Russian Caravan!Looking forward to coming back again soon.
