Excellent little place, good selection of moderately priced wines. Staff do an excellent job, I was looking for something fruit forward dry and silky, they recommended a bottle of Kaiken which is a Malbec/Bonarda/Petit Verdot it was right on the money. Highly recommended.

Excellent selection of Italian wines offered by knowledgeable owners, with some available by the glass so you know you are buying the right thing. They also serve Italian antipasti and behind the counter have a few bottles of grappa as well. I've been shopping there for a few years and keep going back for a particular grape variety i can't get anywhere else.

Just wonderful shop - matchless selection of italian wines and pasticcini. Great for just buying wine, having a more interesting lunch, or a boardgames evening with friends.

Popped in for the first time this weekend to get some advice on a birthday present purchase, and came away with just want I needed. Excellent staff and very knowledgable.

Popped in here after a hard afternoon shopping, and was pleasantly surprised! The staff couldn't be more helpful and knowledgeable about their products. With the opportunity to stay and sample some of their goods, I settled down in the airy lounge upstairs and was promptly delivered a large glass of Sangiovese and a platter of meats, cheeses, focaccia and olives. The atmosphere is extremely relaxing, the quality of the nibbles excellent and that glass of red went down far too easily! And all of that for less than £15!Before leaving, I picked up a superb red called "Naked on Rollerskates", which is my new favourite; and a bottle of Vetiver that was personally recommended to me. The selection is reasonable and each bottle seems to be a gem in its own right. Prices are wide ranging, but it is not the case that the cheaper bottles are of lower quality - in fact, the Vetiver was sub-£10 and utterly delectable!Definitely worth a detour if in the area or swing by if spending a day in Winchester.
