Wagamama in Winchester

Amazing service! The staff are so professional, helpful and make the experience exceptional. First time for a long time that I have been so impressed by the efficiency and politeness of restaurant staff.

Went for my birthday dinner, it couldn't have gone worse!! The waitress knocked over the glasses on her tray and the entire glass soaked my friend! she quickly went away leaving the table and surrounding area soaking wet, with a puddle on the floor and all over the table. When the manager came over to see what had happened, he asked if the waitress was okay and completely ignored us. We got a half arsed apology from the waitress, cleared up the puddle of water ourselves and then had to move tables. When the food arrived not long after, my yaki soba noodles were obviously burnt and tasted like charcoal, so I had to wait further for a fresh plate. Meanwhile my friend who was soaked was waiting over 30 minutes for her food, I understand it arrives when it's ready but this was a bit ridiculous! After the water incident, we asked for another glass of water to replace it, and after asking 3 members of staff, nearly 20 minutes later we finally had another glass of water. It was a quiet night in the restaurant with plenty of staff, so no excuse really! The customer service was the worst I've ever experienced dining out and completely ruined my birthday evening. I will not be returning to this wagamama!!

Don't be waste your money going there.The service is not great. Try sitting upstairs near the bar. You'll notice your drinks left on the bar.You'll notice being ignoredYou'll notice the young staff focusing on matters not relating to workYou'll notice the food is not hotThen when you question the food, the olive-skinned male supervisor with light brown eyes will be dismissive. You'll be expected to pay the full bill.Try sending your review & then emailing their restaurant. You'll get nowhere with no response. Because the email is being sent to the very supervisor who was dismissive about your food and not the manager

Food as expected. Don't like the fact that food arrives at different times for members of the party. All a bit annoying. Loads of noodles not so generous with meat/fish. Seasoning a bit on the light side. However our server, a chap from Venezuela was superb. Friendly and efficient.very good indeed without being over the top. Quite expensive.

Arrived early to avoid the crowds, so I could type my assessmentPicked a really healthy vegan dish. Received extra noodles on top. Food was delicious. I had no room for dessert. I extremely full up for the whole day

Lovely place. I would come back if I will visit Winchester again.

The restaurant was easy to find. Inside we were greeted by a modern clean interior, and a light atmosphere. We were quickly attended and taken to a table.The menu was varied, plenty to choose. We didn't have to wait long for our food after ordering.The food was very tasty, hot and met my expectations. The portion size was just right, and I was satisfied. We finished off with a delicious pudding,Would definitely come back again and try the other dishes on the menu.

Food was delicious and very quick 😋 big thanks to the kitchen . Service was good.

My husband and I had a lovely meal this week. A short wait for the table as it was during the lunchtime period. The staff were friendly and efficient and social distancing was in place. Although it was busy our waiter made us feel welcome with a brief chat about his home country which was somewhere we'd visited. The food was fab as always 😋 Thank you!
