Zizzi - Winchester in Winchester

Very friendly welcome and looked after very well. We really enjoyed our food and the atmosphere.

Sat down ordered drinks and starters only to be told that pizza was off the menu as the restaurant had run out of cheese. Shame they didn't mention before we sat down and ordered drinks. The food we did order was below average

Had a lovely vegan pizza very spicy,and so big I took half of it home for dinner later that day.Waiter was very helpful explaining things.Great atmosphere inside..we were seated in the first section in the front , but further around the back it opens out to a larger restaurant .If you register on the ZiZi site you get a free deal for a main course if you buy another when it is your birthday.Winchester location is easy to find and plenty of car parks locally

Service was excellent, really nice folks. But lost a star due to portion size; personally thought the portions were small for the price. Nice food though.

Enjoyed the food. Rather noisy. And not quite enough room between tables/chairs for waiting staff to get around easily, and avoid bumping into chairs.

Great menu, great service, awesome food. All three of us had something different...loved the garlic bread, lasagna was genuine Italian as well as the pizza. Didn't think about it at the time, but would have been nice to be offered grilled or 'battered' calamari.

The menu seems to have changed recently and there were only two dishes on the menu which I wanted and neither was available (everything seems to have chillies in it) The restaurant was busy, but the service was appalling and it took ages to even order the drinks, which came halfway through the starter. We had to ask for cutlery and the main course was virtually dry pasta with hardly any sauce. The coffee ordered after the dinner sat at the bar for so long that I had to go and ask if it was for our table, by which time it was luke-warm, but at least it was taken off the bill. The server was polite and apologetic which was the only redeeming feature. There didn't seem to be a lack of staff to warrant the lack of service and I certainly won't visit again.

Food was very tasty and staff were enthusiastic and polite. Would highly recommend :)
