Bluegrass BBQ in Windsor and Maidenhead

We ate here out of pure hunger and not wanting to walk anymore and it was a good choice. We got the 3 for £15, great deal btw, buffalo chicken (was a bit spicy) loaded Mac and cheese and loaded fries. Solid food with solid flavors, and a great location just across from the Windsor Castle visitors entrance and exit.

Lovely little bar/restaurant, staff were very nice, food was delicious & came out quite quickly considering it was Jubilee Saturday so quite busy. Toilets very clean, but only had 2, & lots of stairs to get to them, not so good when you have bad knees!! (Hence the 4 *) Would eat there again 😊

An awesome classic American style smokehouse. It is located in a great location which is amazing for people watching while you eat. The food is excellent and the portion sizes are great. The atmosphere was enjoyable and the music choice really makes you feel like you are in a proper American smokehouse. Located right next to the castle you can enjoy watching tourists milling around while you eat.

Located near the castle, friendly staff and good service. The ribs and burnt ends tasted good but I would say portion size was not good I say it was more a third of rack of ribs not half. Onion rings and frickles batter was crunchy and good but i felt they needed to change the oil.I did see a burger which looked good

Service was painfully slow to even take our order. Ordered our food and drinks and waited nearly an hour to be told that the chef missed our food order, having had to ask twice for an update on our food (with no one having the sense to check what was happening). We left and the staff still charged us for drinks. This place is taking up space that a restaurant with capable staff could be operating from.

So we wanted to grab a bite and found out the kitchen closed at 8pm!so we arrived for 7;40 ordered quickly and ordered drinks etc.Very slow service and half the order was missed and arrived late.the food that did arrive was cold and clearly the kitchen doesn't take pride in the food they send out even if we were the last customers of the day!it was cold and thrown on the plate.side orders and dips were forgotten and ended up paying £60 for three of us - one of the worst meals we have ever had......

Always look forward to visiting Bluegrass, previously been to Reading and was excited to visit the Windsor restaurant. Quick, friendly service and good selection on the menu as always. Have to say though, I was disappointed with the chips and onion rings as they seemed over fried. Not so keen to return after this experience.

Went for coffee and some snacks.Generally disappointed by the weak coffee, over cooked bland donuts, soggy fries and greasy onion rings. The sweet potato fries and brownies were however good.

We went here for the first time for my brothers birthday and we were really pleased with the food and service. All the staff were polite, friendly and helpful. The food was terrific 😋👌. Portion sizes are very generous as you would expect from an American style restaurant. You can forget dieting when going there as I didn't see anything on the menu that would be classed as lighter or waistline friendly but who really cares about that when you are out enjoying a meal with friends or family. I think this is a great place to come and relax and enjoy the smoke House experience. We will definitely be going back, and let's not forget the wonderful view of the Royal neighbouring property Windsor Castle.

It is hard to write something which won't be positive.Baby ribs were great and of the 3 meals we ordered it was the only good dish.First staff forgot to bring us the drinks. Next, Steak arrived cold, we reported. The dish was taken away and the same steak was re-cooked. This destroyed it. From medium we got well done.The third dish was incomplete, we had to highlight it.Brownie as a desert arrived frozen.Total disaster. It was not even busy, middle of the week between lunch and dinner time. Few people only in the restaurant.I do not think we will come back there, so many other places around.
