A restaurant so nice, we dined there twice. Lovely, relaxed spot off the beaten path, with good food and wine, and excellent service. Everything we tried was delicious (the tableside steak tartare for two was a favourite) and I do not hesitate to recommend this place to anyone looking for a good dinner in Windsor. Try to book ahead, as they do get busy.

Absolutely wonderful, authentic, high quality restaurant! We came to A La Russe after it was highly recommended by a friend who lives locally, and were not disappointed. The staff were polite and attentive, the ambiance was relaxed and calm, and the menu was absolutely fantastic. My only regret is I couldn't eat any more! We can't wait to come back. Would highly recommend the crab, goat's cheese soufflé, and courgette frites!

My wife and I visited this Little Gem for a celebratory lunch, on the 16th March 2022, we had pre booked. The welcome was warm and friendly with service and food that was quite outstanding. I wish we lived nearer, I am sure we would become regulars.

Took my partner for a meal . And what can I say gorgeous food and the service was excellent. Would highly recommend this restaurant. Good food great service Good atmosphere and the prices were good too.

We spent a couple of nights in Windsor last week and booked A la Russe for our first night. We were celebrating our 45th Wedding Anniversary. The meal was absolutely superb and the service was first class. We would have no hesitation in recommending this retaurant.

Fantastic French food. From the snails, to the Guinea fowl to the steak all cooked to perfection. Will definitely be back with the rest of the family.

Overall this restaurant, for me, is almost flawless. I ordered the scallops which was possibly the most decadent starter I've eaten. I also ordered the filet, cooked to a perfect medium rare with an excellent sauce. It came with hardly any fries but I ordered the Dauphinois separately, and the combination with the steak turned out to be excellent. Finally, I ordered the profiteroles, also delicious. Although the menu isn't vast, what they do have is of a very high standard. The service was great as well. Highly recommended.

Beautiful French food, expertly cooked and presented. Each dish was delicious. Its a little expensive and the decor inside doesn't quite match the expense but I couldn't fault the service as each waiter was very friendly and attentive.
