Haka in Windsor and Maidenhead

Maidenhead is particularly well served for Chinese takeaways and this is a good one. Good quality Chinese food at affordable prices. If it is a problem for you, even during Covid times they have not been accepting credit cards.

Haka Takeaway. I don't understand in this day and age why they only take cash. This is old fashioned and should be investigated by HMRC. Nonsense. I got there last night with my card as any normal business would take to be told we only take cash. not good.

Kung P.o chicken was so dry and over done it was inedible. No sauce. The pineapple was awful.I can only compare it to a take away leftover reheated in the microwave more than once.If it was not because I was travelling I would have taken it back. I had no time and it went straight in the bin...disgusting.

Best Chinese takeaway in Maidenhead! Lovely staff, great food, reasonable prices. It's been our go-to takeaway since we first tried it and we've loved every dish we've had. I'd highly recommend the Singapore Noodles and Crispy Chilli Beef

Great service and food! Still getting through menu but special fried rice + crispy chilli beef are my favourites right now. Rice is really tasty and crunchy beef is coated in flawless sauce.

We’ve ordered takeaway from Haka a few times since moving to the immediate area 10 months ago.They came highly recommended and we can see why!Food is tasty, portions are large and filling.We like to order a few starters, mains and sundries like rice and prawn crackers which always go down well in our household.The menu has a large selection of different dishes (as you would expect) and there are options to cater for everyone!Whenever we go to collect our order, staff are lovely and greet everyone warmly.We were sad for Haka during Lockdown when all food places had to close for quite some time, but were very happy to see them open and ready for business again as soon as they were allowed to.

The first time I tried this place i was pretty disappointed. But i always give takeaways a couple of tries, because they tend to be good at some dishes and rubbish at others. For my second try, i went for prawns in a spicy black bean sauce; it was very tasty. Staff are still friendly and quick. Prawn crackers still aren't up to scratch but that's hardly the end of the world.

I like this place, it does good food. But honestly dont know how it survives in this day and age. Cash only, (and not near a cash point) no delivery and no website. Not even a simple landing page with a menu. I really wish they would do more vegetarian too. They don't even have a vegetarian 'section' like most places do. (Good luck if you're vegan!!) PLEASE update yourselves.

Eat here a few times and had very good experiences in this takeaway, love the food but personally I love the chicken chow mein with prawn crackers those are delicious! Keep the good work. Will be ordering here again when wanted Chinese food!
