My absolute favourite place to eat. The food and specially the sushi is the best! The staff are super friendly! I highly recommend this place

A lovely setting for a meal with friends. Outdoor seating with heaters for a pre dinner drink. Slightly slow on the order, but that was the only detail. Welcomed by a live singer which was a lovely touch. The sushi was good, as was the black cod and teppanyaki steak. Extensive wine list (always a challenge to work out what’s what), stuck to a Pouilly fume which was excellent (Vivino 4.3). I feel the service was a little hit and miss, hence the 4 stars, but overall a good experience.

We dined at the Hurley House Hotel Restaurant to celebrate a birthday. We had a fabulous evening ! The service was outstanding and the food was beautifully cooked and presentation was first rate Highly recommended!

Very mixed experience - fantastic venue, great decor and incredible food, let down by below par service from start to finish. Waited 35 mins to be asked for drinks order and then a further 20 mins for food order, second drinks order never arrived and not served petit fours (which every other table had) despite ordering coffees after dinner. We ordered from the Japanese menu and the starters and mains were both delicious and very fresh, dessert menu was quite understated but all were nicely prepared and very tasty. An aside which definitely dampened our experience was the fact we called ahead to check on status of car chargers to be told all 4 were available and working - on arrival all 4 chargers were unserviceable and staff unable to assist, we reset one of the Tesla chargers ourselves and managed to get a very slow charge but only added 15 mins in 2 hours. The EV charging issue meant time away from the table attempting to resolve which definitely impacted the overall experience.

Best fish & chips ever! Went for lunch in 12th March and it was amazing. Served with complementary glasses of a lovely (non-alcoholic) sparkling rosé and we had the fish and chips and lobster spaghetti. An absolutely lovely afternoon with the most incredible singer (she is only 16!) performing live in the bar area.

Recently visited this location for dinner and drinks with friends. The venue was nice and quite and had a fine dinning feel to the restraunt. The food was exceptional and the staff were prompt and attentive throughout the night (a real silver tray service) which is unique for the location outside of London.Keep up the good work.

* Nice hotel, lovely decor and atmosphere* Comfortable room but the air conditioning wasn't working so didn't sleep very well as the room was so hot.* My room was facing the road so when I opened the window to try and get some fresh air to cool the room down, the road noise was VERY loud* Evening meal was nice, but not memorable. Portions were a bit messed up; very large starter, small main and very large dessert. If that's your thing, great!* Breakfast: limited options and service eas extremely slow. Had to ask twice for toast which took over 20 minutes. Fruit and yoghurt also took over 20 minutes to arrive. All in all nit quite aure how a continental breakfast took nearly 45 minutes to arrive. It wasn't that the restaurant was busy; there were three other people at the same time! All in all, lovely hotel, but not sure I will be rushing back here to stay!

Had lunch recently and was quite dissapointed, not quite up to the standard of previous occasions and felt that for what was served it was significantly overpriced. Staff were friendly but overall it felt quite forced and were somewhat over attentive. I can see what they are trying to be (ie London fine dining), when in actuality it doesnt meet the highend standards set by those restaurants.

We stayed here for the last 2 nights of our honeymoon in November so we would be a bit closer to home! This place did not disappoint. Despite us accidentally walking through the main restaurant with our luggage, the staff were very attentive and got us to where we needed to be. Check in was smooth and fast and our room was absolutely beautiful. Due to us staying for our honeymoon, we were welcomed with rose petals on the bed and some complimentary chocolates. We stayed in the Deluxe Room which had its own private patio which was a lovely touch. The first night we used the takeaway service but they kindly delivered it to our room as room service. I had the fish and chips and my husband had the wakatori chicken, both were lovely and the portions were huge. The following night, we dined in the restaurant and that was a lovely experience too. On Saturday nights, they have entertainment in the bar area and we got to here some lovely singing. I fancied a cocktail which they weren’t offering at the time but one of the managers and bartender generously made a champagne cocktail for me. Once again, the dinner was incredible! For starters, we had the fish cakes, sushi and the cheesy garlic bread pizza. For mains we had the burger (salad comes naturally on the side so my husband was very please) and the lamb. They didn’t make us feel rushed at all, so we asked them to stagger the desserts which were lovely when we eventually ate them as we had the chocolate raspberry cake and tiramisu. On a side note, the housekeeping lady is excellent and even provided us with a Hurley House guests laundry bag to take home. P.s. if you haven’t tried the Hurley House continental breakfast, you’re missing out. Will definitely be back to stay again!

Quite nice food and wine but hugely overpriced. ÂŁ32 for black cod that only came with a small portion of rice - had to order sides separately. ÂŁ50 for a bottle of wine that costs ÂŁ10. The restaurant also lacked atmosphere - the bar area was much nicer with live music, but nobody was actually sat there. Service was very good though - our waiter was very friendly and attentive but not overbearing. Wouldn't rush back.
