Food tasted good, had to wait too long for my takeaway, a woman who was already waiting was eventually told that her food was being delivered to her home yet she was sitting there waiting for it. Would not too like to eat there, the feel of the restaurant was not great and it was very cold, in more ways than one

This is a great Indian. The staff are so friendly and the food is delicious. We ordered over the phone and the food was here in 15 mins, piping hot and all very tasty. This is also the most reasonably priced curry house around us, with mains starting from £6.50, means we fed four people well for £27.

Phoned up. Explained I was new to the area. Asked for the best food going. The guy was so polite and friendly. Order taken. Food delivered quickly by an equally polite and friendly guy.Only moved in a week ago and had two different options (son had a third). My son said 'banging curry Dad'. Agreed. The curry is awesome and the service equally so....Thank you to the guys at Indian Kitchen

Our first visit to this restaurant which was recommended to us by friends and family. The staff were very friendly and welcoming. They were very attentive and service was fast; friendly and efficient. The food is very well presented; tastes delicious and there is plenty of it! We will definitely be back! Staff invited and responded to feedback.

Flavoursome food with reasonable portions.Extremely friendly staff.Place seemed quite quiet when I arrived (early Friday evening) but filled up later. Seems especially popular for takeouts and they are affiliated with JustEat.You can bring your own alcohol in, which seems a very popular option especially as there is no corkage fee.The off-licence and co-op next-door allow you to get the alcohol.

Party of 8 (pre-booked). Hadn’t realised they don’t offer alcoholic drinks, but they were happy for us to take in our own (and there’s an off licence right next door!). Don’t believe the restaurant charged us anything re the wine & beer, although they provided the glasses and offered to keep items in the fridge until required (a nice touch). Food was excellent, and portion sizes just about perfect (we didn’t have to ask for ‘doggy bags’, as the plates were empty by the end of the meal – yet we were nicely full, without being bloated!). No afters or coffee on offer. No tablecloths either, and 1 plate had to be returned due to the dishwasher not having done its job perfectly – but the plates were nice and hot. Decent friendly service – efficiently delivered (though we would rather have received the rice first, not last). All in all, everyone in the party was happy – with each of us thoroughly enjoying the food served up (7 different main courses between us). We will return. If you want good food (starters & mains only) at a decent price, and don’t mind taking along your own alcoholic drinks (if that’s your inclination), then we’d recommend this place. And with just a few ‘minor tweaks’, maybe next time we’ll feel able to give it 5 stars.

Having heard that the Indian Kitchen now allows customers to bring their own alcohol into the restaurant I thought I’d visit last night (Sunday) and found they had a buffet night where you choose anything off the menu for a set price. It was excellent! Probably the best keema nan ever! The head chef even came out to ask how the food was! Definitely will be back!

Party of 10. Offered a selection of starters to share. Mains were delicious and portions were very generous. It was busy and the waiter informed us of a delay on the mains which was not a problem as it gave time to digest the huge plates of starters. 10/10 and I'm looking forward to eating there again soon

Very nice food, the heat is just right...just enough that you can still taste the flavours. Lovey sized portions and really lovely staff. We will be back.Yes, they don’t have a license to sell alcohol but this does not affect the obvious quality of the food and that’s what we were there for.
