Great place for a large group dinner. Excellent food and service.

Been twice, brilliant food served really quickly. very polite staff. Not cheap, not a rip off. Char sui, the best thing I have ever eaten

Wanted a take away, however right from the beginning the waiter/ owner wasn't helpful at all and seemed like we were inconvenience to him.Ordered 2 pad thai dishes and 1 portion of spring rolls.The pad thai was okish, for £10 each I was expected much tastier and we were gobsmacked to find out at home that the spring rolls portion contained only 6 mini spring rolls, had no sauce included and paid £8.25 for it.All in one I would not recommend this restaurant to visit.

Unfortunately food and service has never been a good experience

By far the best Chinese takeaway in the area following the demise of the Ming years ago. Similarly priced (it is expensive) but the food is so much better than from any other Chinese takeaway around here.We see it as a special treat, to enjoy occasionally only.Yes, the chap on the phone is quite direct, but he’s taking your order, and he’s taking it correctly. Maybe he’s just focused on his job. I have no problems with it.We have not eaten at the restaurant, yet.

Very enjoyable evening at The Jade, great selection of tasty dishes. Welcoming atmosphere, attentive staff and we felt well looked after, thank you.

First time I have tried this place and have to say very disappointed, booked this for a friend's birthday most of the food is fried! I ordered the peppercorn asparagus which again was fried but very lazily prepared the stalk had not been removed which made it chewy the stalks need to be removed! I ordered one desert as a birthday celebration which was one banana fritter with ice cream a charge of £20 is a total rip off for a banana and ice cream. I don't think I will be visiting again overpriced for lots of deep fried food.

Walking into the jade felt pleasant, not busy but friendly atmosphere. But sadly that's where my compliments end.I'm not one to usually moan at pricing but when the service rush you especially when they're as quiet as they were!My expectations were not met at all.We didn't even stay to finish our food. We asked politely to have the rest cooked and we'd take it away.I would have happily paid the bill at those prices if it had been good service and good food.Orederves were extortionate prices for adequate food. The duck was dry and by that point we wanted out just so I didn't say anything.Being a journalist, a foodie and travelling alot over the years has allowed me the fortune of trying lots of restaurants at different prices, in different places.I don't think I will try again at those prices and I cannot recommend the place when there are so many better places as close as Windsor at a fraction of the price and with dramatically different service.Maybe they judged books by their cover when we visited, who knows?Paid bill but removed service charge. Said thank you and left peacefully, but extremely underwhelmed and disappointed.I will be clear, not bad food, but it didn't come close to living up to the price tags by each dish.*editWhile Im lucky to say that while both myself & my friend got it out our system quickly, the food (we shared) definitely had issues. We both had stomach cramps (his started at the restaurant) and spent far too long on our toilets.

Good service, tasty food. schuan shrimp and broccoli were a bit salty though.
