Small and coquette restaurant with good service and amazing fresh ingredients. Regarding the food experience I was so happy to find a amazing well balanced taste whithout being overpowered by any spices. Compliments for the chefs, the young Italian waitresses, wine list and ambience. Be back soon and consider me as a regular :)).

Is Italian 110%, is it 100% genuine Italian food 110%. Is it delicious 110%. Am I going back there 200%. Advice, take your time and eat like an Italian. That is starter, pasta then anti-pasta. Remember these are real Italians, and it is like them inviting you into their house. So just go with the follow and relax. I have eaten in Italy alot and this place is right up there with some of the best Italian restaurants in the UK.

Pizza fell apart whilst eating. Salmon and pasta had a lack of seasoning. Very dry chocolate cake. Wasn't moist at all which is what I was looking for. Covered in chocolate sauce to create the illusion that it was moist. Tiny tables. Service wasn't up to my expectations. Not enough room for more than 3 plates. However, nice decor, friendly atmosphere. Reasonably priced.

Underseasoned salmon tagliatelle. Very dry, underwhelming chocolate cake, covered in chocolate sauce to give the illusion of moist ness. Very disappointing. Tiny table, not enough room for plates. Nice decor, pizza was pleasant, reasonably priced.

Absolutely fantastic, it need be as simple as that really. My wife and I had a weekend away at a hotel just down the road and decided to stop out for some Italian food and we're so very glad that we did.The food was utterly superb, I couldn't fault a thing. Real authentic Italian flavours executed perfectly. In addition to that the staff were all lovely, the chef was out and about in the dining area making sure everything was OK and everyone was enjoying themselves. The serving staff were wonderfully attentive, even though it did get quite close to capacity not long in.A great number of the patrons were also clearly locals/regulars as they were on first name basis with the serving staff and the kitchen staff, whom looked genuinely delighted to see them.Overall, wonderful food, wonderful atmosphere and a wonderful evening. We decided that we would be more than happy to travel back just to visit La Sorrentina.Thoroughly recommended, if you hadn't gathered that by now.

Pizzas are large, although we prefer a thin crust base. We ordered three takeaways. They all looked different, but it would have been really helpful if someone had written which was which on the box. One was supposed to be an Americano Hot and one the basic Americano and one the Quattro Staggioni....however, as I say, the three looked all very different!! Also I got totally blanked by a person at the (small!) bar. She could not have missed me seeking her attention....but somehow she did. And when I rang to order the call was connected but engaged and I got a message saying something like "the person knows you are waiting, please hold", but after a couple of these messages i just got cut off....and this happened twice before I gave up....The plus side? The garlic breads are huge! It's not the "garlic on a baguette" type of thing, it is more like a pizza! A couple of the other ladies, especially the one who greeted us, were very pleasant...they also seem to have many repeat guests as the chef/owner(?) seemed to know a few of the people, so maybe this place is sadly simply not for us as many others clearly love it.

5 star all the way. Our family of 5 (kids are 5, 8 & 12) were made to feel welcome from walking in the door. Great service, very good food and smiles all round. We don’t live local but will return another time.

Whilst visiting the area for a few days we decided to eat at the La Sorrentina Italian. My wife and I love Italian cuisine and have eaten in many places and locations over the years. The food at La Sorrentina is average at best. We have eaten far worse and far better. The service was average. What I have a real problem with is when they charge crazy prices for what is effectively nothing amazing. 4 pieces of Ravioli for £20! That's it. No garnish. Just 4 peices of ravioli on a plate with a little sauce! £9 for garlic mushrooms and nothing else. No crusty bread. No garnish. Nothing. Just plonked in front of me. Now don't get me wrong, I'm cool with paying whatever for good food and service but that is just a liberty in my opinion. However I resigned myself to the fact that I ordered the afore mentioned ravioli and if thats what you get, that's what you get. However when it came to the bill it was presented to me with a 10% service charge hand written on the invoice as if to say 'well that's what we expect' and that's where I have an issue. I'm more than happy to pay a service charge for good service but when the service I'm paying for isn't that out of the ordinary then all they are doing are disguising the fact they are charging more for their food than advertised which is way over priced in the first place and taking people for mugs! We had to ask 3 times just for a jug of water for gods sake! The only reason I didnt end up telling them to poke their service charge was the fact my wife asked me not to make a scene! If you want to pay over the odds for average food and then it be taken for granted you're going to pay for the privilege then go ahead. My wife and I will chalk this one down to a disappointing experience.Enough said.

Amazing Food, Beautiful Atmosphere. Genuinely good vibes, staff were so amicable and provided top quality service and food.Presentation was impeccable, and the Tiramisu melted in the mouth. Loved it, recommend 10/10!!

On a Tuesday night incredibly busy so clearly they are doing something very right. The food was great, we loved the choice and flavours. Garlic in most irons which was fantastic. Good wine selection too. Will be back
