Great food, great price. I can't speak for others, but I have had food from Lychee on a few occasions and have never been disappointed. I haven't sampled the full menu yet, but the noodles were fantastic. I'll definitely be going back to try a few other items off the menu.

The food is always good here, but they really struggle to get orders ready on time. It is not unusual to arrive to collect your food, then be asked to wait 20+ minutes for it to be ready. The other Chinese in Cookham, Peking Inn, serves excellent food and your order is always ready.

Do not waste your time and money! The New Lychee Chinese is based in Cookham and boosts a vast menu as well as being open during Lock down. For this reason we gave the New Lychee Chinese a try however now we wish we hadn't. We preorder over the phone and collected in person. There was still await but the store looks fresh, clean and very open. One employee was wearing a white chefs jacket. After returning home, it was apparent that items were missing off our order and we had paid for them! When we began eating it was also apparent that the food wasn't enjoyable at all. The chicken was especially odd, perhaps very over cooked causing it to be chewy and flavourless? Overall extremely disappointed and will not be dinning with the New Lychee Chinese any time soon! Even if its the only place open in lock down!

Waiting 1hr 20 minutes for a delivery less than half a mile away... just let your customers know if you can’t do it! We will be more understanding ....

Lychee Chinese lovely staff and service the food is very hot and lots of it the price is very good. The salt and pepper box is brilliant recommend it. Delivery brilliant.

Bland and found a concerning amount of chicken bones in both mine and my other halfs chow mein. Food lacked flavour. Very bland.

Had a delivery which included crispy chilli beef and mix hors d oeurvres, both of which were terrible (soggy beef, dry ribs, rubber chicken). I phoned to complain and spoke to the owner who apologised and credited our 'account' to our phone number. I understand the beef doesn't travel well but maybe that should be mentioned. Anyway, I just thought I'd give them another go tonight but was told it wasn't on the system! Two strikes and I'm not going to bother again.Maybe better to eat in, but I wouldn't bother with a takeaway.
