Mill House Restaurant in Windsor and Maidenhead

Servise shocking as staff was going around tables and asking if they ordered whatever they had on plate. You would think that they have a numbers on tables and know which table order which food.And food? Never again. One thing is price, second is quality. I had asparagus which was undercooked, pouched egg which was overcooked and hollandaise sauce looked like scrumbled eggs and tasted like vinegar so it wasn't fresh made.Two positive things were view and coffee.

Wow this has massively improved under these new owners. It has always been a great location however the decoration and lay out is fitting for the location. This really is a great location for drinks or food.

Great food, great drinks and attentive staff even tho it was rammed full. We will be back for sure.

Visited for lunch on a Monday, plenty of seats available when we arrived but seated next to a wall with no view! We asked to move as there were plenty of seats and we wanted a nice view of the water. I had fish and chips - large portion, not much tartar sauce give. Dessert was a steamed sponge cake with custard - very sweet, went nice with a coffee. The view is great, it would have been better to visit on a sunny warm day as they also have outdoor seating. Staff were friendly and accommodating.I parked infront of the restaurant on a yellow line as a few other cars had done the same, but there is a car park a short walk done the road.

One of the best meals I think I’ve had in a long, long time. Beautiful location on the river, wonderful service, food was delicious. Can’t wait to come back!!

The food and cocktails here are very nice and the staff were very friendly. I sat an outdoor table overlooking the river and views were stunning.

Beautiful, first class food and drink in a lovely location. The staff were more than helpful, and very attentive to our needs. The delivery of the food to our table was quick, and even though I ordered my drinks at the bar, they still insisted in carrying them out for me. Dog and Child friendly. We will definitely return, and will recommend to others.

Very nice view by the river Ordered medium rare to rare steak on the bone. A part near bone (to the short bone) was almost raw and tasted terrible so I had to spit it out. I also had a bad diarrhea straight after the food

Good atmosphere and ambience. A wide range of food and good service. The rooftop views here are very nice. A good stop over for when you go for a stroll across the river.
