Patisserie Valerie in Windsor and Maidenhead

Visited this location recently and instantly felt like a burden to the staff. It was clear that they did not care about us sitting in the restaurant and having a pleasant experience, they wanted to get rid of us as quickly as possible. Everything we asked about seemed to exhaust/annoy the staff. Not a warm, friendly welcome at all unfortunately. Have had really great experiences at other locations but would not bother with the Windsor restaurant again. It was a wasted journey.

Was given £50 voucher for special occasion. Checked website and google, open 09:00-17:00. Arrived today at 15:50, staff mopping floor and would only say; “Closed, closed, we’re closed!” No other explanation given. Appalling.

Went to valerie patisserie in Windsor today , service was very poor, staff were not clean would suggest they wear aprons , 5 finger sandwiches we ate the ones with cucumber which had no taste . Left the other 3. The 4 mini scones were edible. We didn't eat the cakes . Hygiene in this well known company was poor £34.50 for 2 . Really disappointed

Do not even bother to go there unless you are taking away they are not at all. bothered about people eating in who by the way pay more for their food and drinks 6 of us waited ages for coffee and toasted tea cakes which were toasted long before our coffee arrived as staff were too busy seeing to take away customers who they said had been told to serve them first

Lovely service and nice food. Really wonderful hostess and service. Very much enjoyed my visit here this week.

I had a gift voucher for an afternoon tea and I was super surprised with how lovely this one was! The cakes were sponge, but also mousse like a desert. The tea was made with tea leaves, the sandwiches were a nice mix of meat and veg options, but simple to prevent them being unwanted. The scones came out warm, with enough cream to share. I would definitely come again!I’ve had gift vouchers before that end up being disappointing but not this one. I think the voucher was actually less money than the cream tea usually costs! There are unlimited hot drinks, two scones each, 4 cake bits each and 4 sandwich fingers each.The only downside at all, was that the store needs a bit of upkeep. Some of the chairs etc were very worn out and similar things. But I wouldn’t down rate for that kind of thing. I loved my experience and the staff were lovely.

Looks inviting on outside but we walked in to be greeted by a man wearing a T-shirt and trackies and he had a bad smell. Glasses were dirty, food inedible and all together a bad vibe. The 2 staff didn’t even look like they worked there!

After some lunch we had, we came here for dessert. Tasted great, so sweet and the kids loved the scones, hubby and I enjoyed the cafe mocha: will see you again patisserie

Excellent Service at Windsor branch very nice food and great coffee. Chairs and sitting arrangement needs a bit a renovation otherwise everything else is up to the mark.If you are vegetarian and ordering afternoon tea, please make sure that you asked to replace non veg sandwiches with veg one.Double chocolate cake is a must try for chocolate lovers.Strawberry cake is very nice as well.Overall very much recommended.

We came for the afternoon tea and we were very pleased with our choice. The tea was great and with lots of finger tasty sandwiches and delicious cakes, scones were also very nice. I really liked that the tea came a quite large pot (with lots of milk). Fast service. Really bad bathroom.
