Saffron in Windsor and Maidenhead

We purchased the deal off Groupon.... and then read the reviews!Well we were very pleasantly surprised, the service and food were 5*.Yes we paid more on the day but we had drinks and extras so why wouldn't you expect to pay more.The surroundings and decor were great and the staff were friendly and attentive.We will definitely be going back.

Bought a groupon voucher for a 2 course meal but still had to pay extra for the dishes that exceeded the value amount on the voucher. To be honest the numbers didn’t really add up to me. Service was good, waiters were polite I can’t fault them. The food was questionable I’m afraid. The butter chicken didn’t have any flavour and the paneer pakoras were not good. I found it very overpriced and quality of food was not great.

The worst of the worst experience we had today. We bought a groupon and went today for an early dinner. Their meal for 2 Groupon says no need to call and book and that the groupon is not valid on bank holidays. We go in and the clown that runs the place says we dont accept groupon on valentines. He had no respect whatsoever or sympathy to a couple wanting to have a peaceful valentines supper. He said it was groupon’s fault that they didnt specify further. I dont see this place succeeding at all as their customer service is zero.

I ordered palak paneer , 5 chapatis and raita from this restaurant from just eat and I was surprised when I received my order . They put chapatis in plastic bag straightway and they become completely soggy . They charged £2.15 for each chapati but they can’t afford wrapping foil for chapatis . Chapatis were undercooked as well. Palak paneer is totally tasteless. Hardly can find any chunk of paneer. Only raita was a ok. Not happy

Beautiful curry from Saffron tonight! Tender lamb korai, delicious brinjal bhaji amongst others. Quick and friendly delivery. Fab!

Excellent food! Staff listened and were all amazing. Food was tasty and waiters made it suit to my spice level. Will be coming back very soon!

Nice food and good service. Staff were friendly and knows what they're doing. 10/10 would recommend to anyone in Windsor.

I cannot believe how this restaurant actually exist. I ordered their butter chicken and lamb chops and it turned out as bland and nothing like the actual dish. Watered down curry and not sure what masalas were even used.This is not indian food, its lazy cooking.Seems like they dont put any effort for takeaway food. I got an upset stomach after eating their food. This restaurant should actually shut down. I will never order from here again. Its my first and last.

Very enjoyable meal. Menu diverse compared to most Indian style restaurants. Friendly helpful staff. Definitely recommend

The food was way to sweet and not spicy whatsoever. Waited an over an hour for a takeaway. It would be fine if the expectation was set that it would take a long time to receive the food, however we were told that it would be 20 mins. After repeatedly asking we were told two separate tomes it would be 10-15 mins.... This is after waiting almost 50. No apology, no offer for a free drinks k or anything. Food is much much better elsewhere. Food was very greasy.
