Shurlock Inn in Windsor and Maidenhead

A great place to eat, drink and have sumptuous meals, especially steaks. The staffs are extremely pleasant, helpful and knowledgeable. The service is fast and meal served at the right temperature.There’s outdoor seating and great ambience in the summer months. The pub is dog friendly and there’s ample parking space at this rural location.

Had the belly pork roast dinner , which was superb. Nicely laid out place , clean & the staff were very friendly. Would go here again.

The food was delicious and priced reasonably for such lovely food. The staff were so friendly and helpful and made you feel welcome, and even surprised us with a desert for my mum's birthday. And the restaurant itself is beautiful!

Awesome chicken roast, the rest at the table raved about the steak, great sourdough bread starter, and the sides we enjoyed were the Mac & cheese & creamed spinach. Wasn't a huge fan of the hash side.The sticky toffee pudding was the big pudding winner; I was disappointed in the plum crumble (too liquidy and not crumbled enough).Reservations recommended!

We had an absolutely delightful lunch here. Fantastic setting, especially outside. Service was very friendly and attentive. Food was very good and the cuts of meat excellent and very satisfying. We would definitely recommend!

Absolutely incredible food, served in a stylish, trendy country pub setting. It's tucked away in the middle of nowhere but gets busy so I'd recommend booking in advance. They have superb regular live music acts playing here also.

A lovely, modern but quaint, little gastro pub with outdoor dining. It was our first venture out post lockdown, and with a 1 month old at that. The staff were all fantastic, very attentive and caring. When we arrived they (without prompting) gave us a table with a bit more privacy and in a quiet area for the little one with space to leave the pram.The menu is simple but delicious. We highly recommend their smoked salmon starter. There really is only one (logical) choice of main and that's the steak. Various cuts available with some priced by weight. Our steaks were cooked just how we liked them and the sauces available were delicious (we had the peppercorn sauce and the red wine and bone marrow sauce). There was only one dessert that caught our eye on the menu and this was the Chocolate and Bailey's Delice. We were glad we shared this between us as it was huge. It was amazing and a perfect dish to finish off the meal. We'll definitely be coming back again soon.

We recently had Sunday lunch at The Shurlock Inn following its reopening after Lockdown. Simply fantastic!! We were meet as soon as we walked in by manager who was really friendly and genuinely excited to be welcoming guests again. The garden looks great, there were heaters and we noticed plenty of blankets for when the temp drops. The waiting staff were equally great but it was the Roast Beef that was the star of the day! Perfectly cooked and utterly delicious. We cant wait to go back again. Thanks to all the team - its great to be back!

Lunchtime visit during easing of COVID restrictions. All the staff really pleased to see customers and lovely positive vibe. The outside seating area has been done really well too. The starters we had were delicious, steak tartare and shortrib croquette. We had steak with bearnaise sauce and the steak flatbread, both beautifully cooked. The triple cooked chips were amazing and you could smell the truffle in the dauphinois before you even tried it, yum! Enjoy your visit, we did!
