Tapas Revolution Windsor in Windsor and Maidenhead

Had a delightful meal here. We came around Sunday Lunch time. The food was very good. We pretty much had all the meat options off the tapas menu. Everything was packed full of flavour. The potato and chorizo with an poached egg on top was amazing and my girlfriends personal favourite. Service was good and all waiters were polite and seemed happy. Food came out quickly as well. A delightful tapas place in a great location.

Where do I even begin? This restaurant was quite renowned as it was recommended by the British chef Jamie Oliver previously. However I find it to be overrated. First, the staff were inexperienced and they have poor knowledge over their menu, for instance, they didn’t know their set lunches are only available during weekdays. The food’s portion were disappointing small and the quality of the food did not live up with its reputation. The food is definitely overpriced - despite spending more than £15 per person, none of us in our group feel full and we were still hungry for more. The only upside of this restaurant is probably its location, only 5 minutes walk from the Windsor castle, which makes the restaurant extremely popular with tourists. The atmosphere and the scenery of the restaurant was nice too, too bad the food wasn’t good. I wouldn’t recommend this restaurant to anyone unless you are willing to pay for the overpriced so-so food. There are always better alternatives for this price.

The restaurant has really nice ambience with amicable staffs. The restaurant was huge and we went at odd hours so there wasn’t a queue. We ordered the croquettes, sausages marinated in cider, cod fish and octopus. They were simply awesome. However, the paella was okay and the portion was rather small given the price (£12-14/person) and the churros weren’t satisfactory. The texture of the churros were mushy and the chocolate dip did not taste good.

A bit overpriced for the food given. We had chorizo, squid, fishballs and patella. I would say not bad but definitely not very good either. Restaurant was relatively quiet when we came at around 3pm but is gradually becoming busy. Come and try out if u are visiting the windsor castle as there is not really that much you can choose from.

We reserved the whole restaurant for our 90-person school trip! They got us in in a friendly and orderly fashion and paella and chicken was served to all within 1.5 hours! Amazing! Great food. Great service! Great prices! Great ambience!

Was a spur of moment to go here. Had friends visiting from Romania. Even though Windsor was busy the restaraunt was quiet and relaxing. Staff were attentive and helpful with selection. All the dishes were well prepared and delicious. Will be going back there soon.

Terrible service. The price of the paella on the menu is very confusing 12 - 14£ . We ordered 1 and on the bills comes for two -24£. The waiter called Istvan said "thats the way it comes". Not a nice service at all. On the food side its tasty and good. The management need to look at the service and set a proper prices or at least explain before the customer order.

Came in on a Sunday evening for a light meal and was not disappointed. Very tasty food and friendly staff. The service was on point, will definitely visit again

Great value for money and tasty food.Weekday lunch menu particularly good but as are the set menus. Never had the paella but looks amazing.Sangria is a little weak.Waitresses are always friendly and most are native Spanish speakers who are happy to chat so great Spanish practice.
