Just been to lunch for Easter Sunday it was my first visit and it certainly won’t be my last! Great food amazing service, and the sweet trolley was just amazing. Nan and grandad really loved it and said it was such a throwback to old times, can’t recommend enough

Definitely can't say you don't get large meals! Fantastic value for money on their lunchtime set meal. Waiting staff absolutely lovely.

Food was great and staff attentive. Reminded me of a few years ago when you could go to a restaurant with a great menu and actually hear yourselves speak.!I'll definitely be back and my friends have booked their anniversary meal there. I will take my parents there.Prices aren't wild and so you can make choices to meet your budget....clearly this isn't a budget place to eat but the atmosphere is worth it.

Superb, authentic, Italian food.Beautifully cooked, wonderful staff. Friendly, efficient.Couldn't fault it.Dessert trolley is always a treat. Will definitely like to visit again.

Had dinner this evening. Our steaks were cooked well. However my wife’s mushroom sauce was boring. No flavour. The lack of flavour of the sauce made the grill flavour of the meat taste very bitter. The veggies lacked flavour the cauliflower cheese was well cooked but again no flavour.Staff very nice and friendly. Pity about the food.

First time at The Bull, won't be the last! Traditional, classic is what hits you when you walk in and your first sight of the beautiful menu. The range of dishes and favs you have not seen for years just makes you smile! You can sit in the bar area or in the restaurant, restaurant for us. Glad we did as the staff could not have been more attentive and pleasant. They could not do enough and they were certainly on the ball. Now the food. It took us so long to choose. Every time a dish came out of the kitchen we changed our minds!! The wine selection was good and had something for every wallet size. So the food we had, three courses for lunch please!!! Beautiful sardines, grilled to perfection and the taste was fantastic. A seafood crepe was bursting with fresh fish and prawn. Beef Wellington to follow. That was amazing, cooked perfectly and tasted out of this world. A short rest after that and then the desert trolly rolled up. This was torture, you just wanted everything on show. Home made and sooooo good. Lemon Meringue Pie and an Ape Strudel and lashings if chilled fresh cream. What is not to love, and we loved every minute at The Bull.

Five of us had dinner here, during the week. We ate in the bar area, which is a pleasant and calm space. There is another sophisticated dining room, at the rear of the restaurant. The staff are wonderful - highly professional and welcoming. The service is marvellous and nothing is too much trouble. We had pre-booked because it's a very popular venue. All the tables were taken. The 3 course set Christmas menu was £26pp, with a good choice of dishes. The food was excellent and expertly delivered, in silver-service style. The desert trolley is laden with homemade, delicious delights. This is a superb place to visit and well-renowned in the area. There's a spacious car park adjacent to the restaurant.

The Bull has a lot of character and the staff are very friendly and helpful. We have always found a very wide choice of dishes on the set menus which are excellent value or you can go for the A La Carte. The food is delicious and we have never been disappointed. Really happy to recommend this restaurant.

We went to the Bull for Sunday lunch. The Sunday set menu was great and excellent value for money. The dessert trolley was a highlight. It felt like going back in time and it was a wonderful experience. The staff were very attentive and friendly.

Eating here is like going back in time!! Amazing service, even silver service and a sweet trolley! Food was more suited to the older clientele (soft veg) but was still very nice. The kind of place you take your Nan when you want a nice Christmas present!
