Posh pub food food extremely well! Stopped off for a spot of lunch. Ample car parking, lovely outdoor marquee area with access to the chefs cooking.I’d just had dental surgery and had to choose accordingly so opted for the wild garlic soup with feta and croutons - it was Devine. I then ordered the beef Wellington and my goodness, what a generous portion; cooked to perfection.

Great place for some stellar food and a proper pint (or three). I could sit by the wood stove all day and the staff are meticulous about every pint they pull. Thanks!

Very good food. Nice marquee area for dining. very friendly waiter. A little pricey though.

Food very nice but one main course, ox cheek, was the size of a small starter. Twice as much would still have been a small dinner. Otherwise very nice. Steak lovely, Raspberry sorbet with brittle👍👍 Friendly staff

One of my favourite places to go to - it used to be owned by Heston Bluemental but recently taken over by another partner completely that he did business with. No big changes but the menus have changed and there are some new items and desserts.I was there for the Christmas holiday offerings and opted for the yummy prawn cocktail - the accompanying bread and butter was so good!My main course was Windsor Estate partridge, a small bird that doesn’t taste “gamely” at all, in fact it tastes a little like chicken and this was cooked to perfection and wrapped in bacon with the most delicious roast potatoes! To finish, I opted for the mince pie and coffee, with a small piece of the homemade macadamia nut brittle.Overall the food was yummy and Molly, our waitress was absolutely wonderful and made us feel welcome and appreciated - the perfect mix of service and personality!I would recommend they look for a new coffee offering, it was nice but not strong enough for me but overall, I would always give this venue a 10/10 for everything.

A lovely small pub offering a classic pub menu. Large dining area with plenty of space making it feel very safe.A specific allergy friendly menu was provided upon being shown to our table, with a good selection of options available.Food was of a good quality, however left with mixed feelings. Having ordered the charcuterie board, was presented with essentially what was a plate of 1 style of meat - definitely not worth the price. When I asked the server if there was even any bread I was told no and not even offered any.Service was very mixed, front of house were very welcoming, however the servers themselves rather rude and you were left feeling like you had interrupted them when asking questions.Worth a visit if your looking for a good pub meal, but just don't expect too much from the menu/service.

4.5 stars. Loved the old pub atmosphere and the service from our waiter (a guy from Italy) was great, he had a lot of helpful local recommendations. Most of the food was great but found the sticky toffee pudding a bit odd…

The Crown is a fantastic place where traditional pub dishes are done with outstanding quality. The service is excellent and the way in which they made enclosed the garden and provided space for guests to enjoy the meal while being safe is also great.

Very tasty, good beer, veg portions are good. The lamb was divine, felt that the starters should have been better for the price. Or a bit cheaper Had the prawn cocktail and the eel with bacon jam. Staff were excellent and friendly. Obviously not the cheapest place but we had a great evening.

It’s Bray but it’s not Heston and it’s a very good posh pub menu in a modern marquee. Most people had either fish n chips or the burger, both were well rated. I had the lamb - was superb. Good for kids. Service was mixed, some good staff here and they were trying. Great value for Bray; not great value for anywhere else on the planet. But it is Bray. Recommended.
