The Drunken Fish in Windsor and Maidenhead

Reheated burnt chips mixed with a few fresh chips doesn't not make it worth the 5mins wait the new owner informed me should have known keep away and go someone decent in Windsor or Slough even Staines anything but any of these two nasty chippy’s in East Datchet!

Perfect crispy batter and well cooked chips. Curry sauce lush.I’m a lorry driver and could not park up near the shop so I telephoned in and ordered and the very kind lady ran the food out to me on the road when I was passing - 100% brilliant and greatly appreciated x

My review is no longer valid, as I don't pass through that way anymore. I do know it's changed hands, with a full staff change though, so I have, correspondingly, reduced my rating from 5 to 3 stars bring the middle, neither negative nor positive.Used to be the best, most yummy juicy burger in town!! And the chips stars pretty good too. Helpful and efficient staff and service. Easy on road parking.

Ordered large cod and chips and it tasted as good as you would want it to from a traditional fish and chip shop. Delicious! My son tried the burger and hot dog and was very happy with it too. Will be going back regularly.

My family and I have been going there from the time I moved in to Datchet. To have an Off Licence mixed in with the fish and chip shop hence the name Drunken Fish is a genius move.The service from the shop is excellent within all the last 3 owners and would highly recommend for a visit, just so you experience the whole service personally.
