An absolutely incredible afternoon celebrating my Dad's 60th birthday! The food was (obviously) amazing. I was a little worried initially as my brother is a slightly fussy eater and I'd convinced him to spend a month's food budget on one meal he might not like but even he loved every bite! The intensity of flavours, the mix of ingredients and strange cooking methods made everyday ingredients seem magical!

Very interesting. I'd say about 5/10 of the courses were excellent and the other 5 slightly missed. Sound of the sea was probably the best. The crab risotto was overly salty.

As others have said before, this is not just a restaurant, this is Art and Theatre. This is a four hour adventure for the food and wine lover and was a bucket list destination for me for a long time. Almost hidden, this unassuming building is a magical experience. My only niggle is the price point, which is high even at this level of experience, however in their defence, they have almost one member of staff to every cover. You will also try dishes far off the everyday beaten track, a memorable experience and fully recommended.

The fat duck is not a restaurant, it's an experience. The staff are exceptional, as is the food. Taking advantage of all of your senses. We booked the restaurant for my mother's 60th after trying to get in for years. It definitely lived up to and exceeded expectations. And the heated toilet seats are wonderful too!

It’s the second time we’ve been to The Fat Duck and can confidentially say that both times have been equally amazing. It may have slipped down the world rankings but it is deserving of its three Michelin stars. Having dined at the likes of Central, El Cellar De can Roca, Noma, Raw and Osteria Francescana, The Fat Duck still remains our favourite. It has a wonderful mixture of experimental food and theatrics, which the others have only one or the other and not both. The service and warmth from the “story tellers” are sincere and genuine. Throughout the service they joyfully take you on a food journey through Heston’s mind. If I had to recommend one restaurant in the world to go to before you die, this would be it.My only tip if you dine here is, don’t be afraid to ask questions. In fact they actively encourage it. We were fortunately rewarded with a kitchen tour afterwards as we were the most inquisitive table during our lunch sitting.

Amazing food and fantastic service nestled away on the high street of a small English country town.Food was spectacular and the Curiosity wine pairing was very interesting. We shared a wine pairing which worked quite well (partly because they are free-pours so you probably get a bit more, but mainly because otherwise that’s an atrocious amount of wine!!!).Will come again in a few years - can’t afford to come sooner!!!

What a truly amazing and mind-blowing experience! This sets the level for all further fine dining experiences to come. The service is absolutely second to none, with the attention to detail amazing. The food was absolutely delicious and such a mind-blowing sensory experience. Definitely worth going to visit!

Had dinner on a Friday evening, and had super high expectations. It was all we could have wished for.The food is of course outstanding and in a league og it's own, but the part that makes it strand out is the way the food is presented. This is done by a super friendly staff, that is engaging and will do what ever they can to make your evening special.A special thanks to Francesca who was our storyteller for the evening. She was making an already special evening even better.I especially like that the three star Michelin sign is placed in the kitchen for the staff to see an be reminded by, and not out front to brag to the customers.

As expected, the experience was fantastic: the service was amazing and there was not a single dish we disliked. Plan for 3 to 4 hours of dining. The pairing package is a bit deceiving as it is only an amount of money allocated to your drinks and not a specific set of drinks and wine. The least expensive wine pairing offered at the table was £165 per person.

An absolute delight; silly in the right way, superlative service, perfect wine pairing and some of the best dishes I’ve ever eaten.A lot of it could come across as gimmicky if it weren’t for being backed up by seriously good flavour. Plates are well thought out and executed perfectly. The Sounds of the Sea is perhaps the pick of an amazing bunch. It’s a real treat to be able to enjoy food and drink that has been so obviously cared for to this degree
