Plenty of choice on the food menu. Good quality food and choice of real ale. Very pleasant staff.

Delicious varied menu!

Lovely food and lovely staff!! A bit overpriced for what you get but it’s nice enough, staff were really attentive and when asked for anything brought it over pretty much immediately. Recommend the sticky toffee pudding!

Great selection of beers, really good food all in atmospheric surroundings. My favourite pub.

Lunch for 4, Excellent Food, Nice Atmosphere with Friendly Service. Easily 5 stars and I plan on going back again next week, Thank You George on the Green.

Great food, cosy place ....

Just such a lovely pub to celebrate my dad's 92nd Birthday . Food was just great ,very friendly staff who took great care of us . Would highly recomend a meal here .

To a trip out to the George, last there in 1959 while watching my Dad play cricket on the green. Very atmospheric pub with a welcoming Landlord. Had Sunday lunch of excellent quality with staff who could not be more professional or friendly. Superb. Many thanks

Visited today on a recommendation from a friend …. What a lovely looking pub. We were greeted by smiley and courteous staff and everything felt right about this pub and restaurant. I had the fish cake stater, best I’ve ever had and my wife had the prawns …. best she’s ever had apparently, nice. The main course was the surf and turf, the steak which you cannot see in the photo as it’s hidden under the scampi, was succulent and very well cooked. What really impressed me was the salad served with the S&T and my fish cake as this was a pleasant change to the limp, unimaginative salads so often served in less attentive establishments. We will be back with family and friends and I suggest you pay The George on the Green a visit, soon ….Mick & Georgina from Chertsey, Surrey.
