Good food, friendly staff, good sized beer outdoor area with COVID barriers. Liked the beer! Popular with cyclists and walkers.

Lovely atmosphere, great food! Dog friendly, but ours were quite barky due to new environment and noises, so head scarf for was required for them. Despite our noisy pups, the staff were super understanding and really nice about it (I kept apologising and I'm still sorry to this day!). Would definitely come back here to try the rest of the menu!

👎THIS ISN’T A NICE PLACE FOR FOOD…Inedible roast dinner (see photo of the most poorly treated cow). What a wasted opportunity having such an amazing location to unfortunately produce ‘really bad food’ …👍Lovely bar staff and nice selection of local ales and gins.👎Please don’t come here if you are wanting to eat real food, it will underdeliver 🤦🏻♂️👉 PS.. They say you can judge a pub by the cleanliness of their bathrooms - see photo 😫

One of the bar maids was really off hand. I couldnt sit at a table even though hardly any customers was there. Duck was nice. Sarah was lively behind the bar.

Me and my entourage decided to quench our thirst and tame our hunger, so we made way to this establishment. I set my gaze on their beef burger, and in the words of Samuel L Jackson in Pulp Fiction, "mmmhmmm this is a tasty burger". And their Ale, was (please say the next bit in the most flamboyant way possible) FABULOUS!!!!

Tonight before 9pm, one of your guests was so drunk that she fell trying to leave your pub and the friend responsible for helping while they wait on an ambulance was also extremely intoxicated and had to be sent home in a taxi after being sick in the street. It’s a shame Jeremy Kyle no longer lives in Eton. This could have made for good television.

Lovely Sunday roast and Eton mess (althoughi I did prefer it when it was served in a bowl, it's rather messy eating it off the glass). We discovered this place years ago and always go back when in Windsor. Portions are enormous! The roast in the picture was a child size and I couldn't finish it, bare that in mind if you have a small appetite or order for kids (one kid's meal can easily serve 2 children if they are not big eaters!)

Tied to the Windsor & Eton brewery, whose beers are very good. Had lunch here, which was lovely. Staff were great. Visit this pub and enjoy. I'd recommend the Chestnut ale. Possibly one of the best beers I've ever tried.

Brilliantly located in a lovely area right by the river, a very cosy pub, comfortable bed and spotlessly clean, very friendly staff all resulted in a great stay.We normally stay in hotels, but after this experience pubs have so much more character and more to offer.Staff couldn't have been more helpful, thanks guys!
