A lovely pub with a long garden. Plenty of tables and appeared to be some activity features for children at the far end. Water bowls out for dogs. An outdoor ice cream stand. The food was very nice with generous portions too. Fairly priced as well. I would recommend.

This is a lovely quaint pub, I'm do sorry to give this a 3* and only because it was empty so no atmosphere. I think this would be a super pub during the summer, and also weekends but it is quiet during the week. Staff however are absolutely charming and nothing too much trouble x

Play area for kids is great, garden is lovely. 3 stars is because the roast was not good, served in a bowl swimming in gravy, meat wasn't good quality, asked for extra Yorkshire having taken items away and never got and gor the price we expected better. Coffee is not great either. Kids loved the ice-cream!

Food was very nice. Service was very slow and there was a very long wait for the food with two OAPs starving. Waiter wasn't apologetic but again food was warm and delicious! It would have been useful if we were warned about a long wait for food but we were not.

Visited the Jolly Farmer after having not been in a while. We came with family for a Sunday lunch. All I can say is that it was excellent and as we remembered. Myself and my husband had traditional roast beef, the beef was cooked to perfection, and just the right amount of vegetables, gravy and a Yorkshire pudding. We were told by the waitress that the beef is locally sourced, we love that ingredients are bought from local suppliers. My daughter and husband had the sharing chicken kebab, succulent and tender chicken with just the right amount of spice. We will definitely be back on a regular basis again. Great food, great service and great ambience.

Shocking bad roast beef Sunday lunch yesterday. Served in a bowl not a plate. Meat inedible and almost certainly not carved from a joint but reheated. Overcooked roast potatoes. Nasty tasting gravy. Half a carrot. Will never return.

Went on Monday 27th December 2021 for dinner and we were really impressed. It was fairly busy but the service was great. Excellent food. We enjoyed our pizza and chicken kebab. My husband loved the Rebellion Beer on tap too! I would definitely return and recommend.

Very disappointing lunch. service is normal but the chicken of the chicken burger is dry, over-fried, almost burnt with barely a slice of meat, really just chicken skin. poor quality of food. not to mention the food took such long time to arrive when there were just two tables.

Went here with some old pals for dinner. Excellent food, friendly staff, and a large outdoor garden including a heated pod and outdoor bar. Thoroughly enjoyable evening. Recommended.

Had a lovely meal in the garden on Friday 16th April. First time out as a family since before Christmas. Food was delicious and the team are doing a fab job in difficult circumstances. Service will take a little longer than usual but that is fair enough. Lovely place and team - keep it up!
