The Peking Inn in Windsor and Maidenhead

Fantastic food and extremely friendly hosts. Must say there was so much food on the set menu, we couldn't finish all the courses and took what was left home. We highly recommend this wonderful restaurant. Thank you for a great experience! Sandy and Dean

WOW! The BEST Chinese I have ever been to.We were staying at the near by Odney club for my Partners birthday and the Peking Inn made our trip.The food was exceptional and came extremely quickly despite almost a full restaurant and many take away collections. We had the Set menu, the beef and black bean was so tender and full of flavour. What stood out to me most was the customer service from every single member of staff. Everyone we interacted with was absolutely lovely.They even brought out a special dessert and sparkler for the whole restaurant to sing happy birthday.I would 100% recommended it to anyone if you want delicious food, great service and a fantastic atmosphere.Thank you!

Absolutely fantastic Chinese restaurant. Pam and the team made us feel very welcome and the food is of a very high standard - all served fresh and piping hot. The banquet set menu is very good value and the crispy duck is to die for. Portion sizes are spot on. There's a reason this place is packed even on a Wednesday night. It's good. Very, very good!

This is my favourite restaurant that I have been coming to my whole life, especially on special occasions. From the customer service of Pam and the team is excellent, Pam always remembers me and my family. The food is exceptional and consistent every time. This restaurant is very special in many ways and I couldn’t recommend it enough.

We had another fantastic lunch at the Peking Inn Cookham today, I cannot recommend it highly enough, as well as the food being fantastic the service is excellent too. I could eat the steamed dumplings every day and so glad we tried grilled prawns in Chinese wine sauce, amazing. Looking forward to our next visit, we are lucky to have this restaurant close by. Had high hopes for this place as I had read some lovely reviews, so my partner and I came here for our anniversary.Unfortunately as soon as we were sat down we were pressured constantly to order quickly and hurry up.I understand a lot of businesses are struggling in the fallout from the pandemic so it wasn’t a huge surprise that they had tried to cram in as many customers as possible into one evening, but it would have been nice to be warned prior to our arrival that it would be extremely busy and that we would have limited time.We came hoping that we could have a relaxing evening with some nice food, but this didn’t happen.We entered and were made to feel essentially like we had to eat fast and get out ASAP. I felt particularly sad about this as we don’t have the money to dine out very often so this was a special treat on our special day.At the end, the waitress took my partner’s card off of him and tapped it on the card reader straight away without allowing him to see the amount.. this is majorly unprofessional and a big no-no.The food was only a step above your average Chinese takeaway. This would have been fine in itself but given the service and the prices, the experience overall was not great.I would say this place is suitable for a quick meal in and out but I would not recommend it if you’re looking to have a relaxed evening with great food.

The best Chinese around ! Pam and her team are just fabulous and make you feel extremely welcome. The chef makes the most delicious food. It's our go to restaurant when the kids are home from university and birthdays. Their takeaways are hot and tasty ... what else can you ask for ?

We went to our favourite Chinese restaurant last Friday and treated ourselves to sitting in instead of a take away and were certainly not disappointed. The food was up to it's normal very high standard as was the service. The Peking Inn is in our opinion the best for Chinese food in the whole of Berkshire and a credit to Pam and John.
