The Piper Art Bar in Windsor and Maidenhead

Stumbled across this Scottish themed pub the other week in Windsor. Maybe a taf OTT portraying its ‘Scottishness’ but still a good wee pub on the pedestrian zone in Windsor. Nice sun trap backyard with heated booths and outside seating. Great find.

Good atmosphere and the art makes a great vibe. Nice staff.

I really like this place. Specialises in Whisky and has a great range. Sometimes the bar staff are knowledgeable about the drinks, sometimes not, but they are always friendly and good to talk to. Mark-up is quite high on some and I think they could do a better job on the pricing in some cases, but if you like whiskey you won't be disappointed.

In Windsor at lunchtime and only popped in for a drink so can’t comment on the food.First time we’ve used this bar. Seemed like a good selection of any drinks you might want. Establishment clean and the lady who served us was very welcoming and we thoroughly enjoyed our drinks and have made a point to visit here again sooner than later

Was here yesterday on a Saturday early afternoon and trying to get a meal ,had to request a menu from the waitress at the bar who while polite and offering to come take our order,never did. Following this I eventually had to flag down a waitress to take our order. Ordered a tea to warm up and got a cup of hot water with a tea bag and a small cold jug of milk which had me having to drink my tea quickly before it got too cold. While the service was not really that good I can't dispute the portion size and food was good hence the 2 stars,but once completed our meal and getting someone to clear the table. No one came to ask if we would like anything else or offer any dessert etc. We eventually had to go to the bar ourselves to ask for our bill. Poor service hence the low stars

Probably the best fish and chips in the world. Everything was fresh, well prepared, and tasty. Staff, Saj and Horatio, were friendly and knowledgeable, and they had a great selection of drinks. Also, the artwork on the walls was a nice touch. I highly recommend this to anyone visiting Windsor.

Nice drinks, burger was standard but sadly for a Scottish pub very disappointing on the haggis neeps and tatties . Small for a main and swimming in gravy, not nice

I came here for a friend's birthday. The design is made to be a scottish pub. I had an amazing Sunday roast and my friends were really happy with their fish 'n chips. Quick table service and friendly staff. There is also a big selection pf whiskeys and gins. Recommended for whoever is in town
