Great family pub with dining and letting rooms. Set on a country road overlooking fields it has a splendid outdoor terrace which is a great place to sit and unwind after a day's workReturn visit after moving away from the area. Welcome just as warm. Fantastic place to sit on the beautiful sun drenched terrace enjoying great wines and beers overlooking the fields and peaceful scenery of the village. Great place to recharge your batteries.

Nice friendly local, nice selection of ales and lagers and your usual delights on the food menu. The land lady is lovely too, really fun and very welcoming. Can’t wait to go back.

Enjoyed our 2 night stay. Tessa was extremely friendly and very informative about the area. The full English breakfast was superb. In a good location as you can walk to the long walk and the castle. Would stay again if we are in the area again.

I stayed at the Union Inn in July of 2019 and still miss it! Tessa is the most wonderful host, so lovely, welcoming and just fantastic fun. We got on really well and it was such a pleasure staying here, having a morning tea with Tess and chatting it up. The rooms are clean, really nice and if you are lucky you will have a view of the adjacent farm with the cows. It was a treat to watch them in the morning and evenings. Bathrooms are modern and nice and the FOOOD...I am still dreaming of the Mushroom Risotto topped with fresh arugula. Goodness that was an incredible dish. Also bangers and mash is yummy, Salmon (super yummy), Sea Bass (delicious). The patio is wonderful and time of day as cozy and the flowers are very inviting. My favorite time was when the sun was setting and all the colors danced across the sky while I enjoyed my favorite risotto dish. 5 stars to this lovely inn and I cannot wait to visit again! Its an unexpected treasure and for anyone wanting to walk and see the sites its a few minutes until you hit the entrance of Windsor Park and a fantastic walk to Windsor castle and town. Highly recommend :)

We enjoyed the energy of Union Inn and the super friendly staff, who were very helpful and courteous. Very good meals, especially the exceptional breakfast! We appreciated the insightful information from the owner of the historical Inn and the area, as well as the good drinks mixed by Josh in the warm and friendly pub. Happy memories! It's just okay!! Stayed the night as travelling from Terminal 5 early the next morning. Room was okay but clearly needed a freshen up. Bathroom was also okay and also needed a few things doing to bring it back to nice. Luckily only a couple of other guests so we had a quiet night. The bar was very quiet too, a bit too quiet. We didn't eat here so can't comment on the food.

I have stayed in many hotels and B&B’s but I have to say that this is the worst. On the surface the room seemed cleaned but as I looked a bit further it wasn't. The amount of dust behind the TV was a though it had been there since it was installed. The bathroom floor tiles were cracked in many areas along with the bathroom mirror. The toilet seat was in dire need of being changed as it was so badly stained. The shower head was so heavily scaled it impaired the flow of water, to top it all the shower ran cold despite checking every setting to get it to run warm but gave up in the end. The closed window blind hid a filthy dirty window which desperately needed painting, the blind itself needed a good clean. The bedding was clean but I dont think the bed had been pulled out in a long time as the presence of dust was not from a week or twoThe reception area was more like a storeroom rather than a welcome area with old tables, old paint tins, boxes and the laundry bags. The pub smelt of stale food and surfaces need a good scrub to get rid of the sticky, greasy touch. Breakfast i was told was from 8am but nobody was around and the dining room was locked. I stood for a long time to check out but nobody appeared so I left and wont be returning...

The room was comfortable the shower was large enough and the staff/management were very accommodating and entertaining. Tess is a barrel of laughs and always pleasant as is Dom. The location is great as it is a short walk down the road into the Great Park, just down from the copper horse where it is an easy walk into Windsor and the Castle. Food was great and the locals who frequent the bar were friendly
