It's just opened after a re-furb, I don't know what it was like before but it is beautiful now, William Morris style wallpaper and dark blue wood with funky mis-matched tables and chairs. The food is fabulous, we had venison bon-bons which were so meaty and tasty followed by a beautifully spiced falafel Vanni burger, which came with skin on fries. Delicious. They have a nice selection of well kept beers. The staff, although busy, were friendly and efficient. Great pub.

Had lunch with a friend, lovely place, lovely food but absolutely gobsmacked that they don't serve coffee and on that basis unfortunately I will not be returning until they do, for me this is a basic thing when eating out or meeting for coffee. I would also be extremely disappointed if I'd booked for a lovely Christmas meal with friends and family and no coffee to end the meal. Please can you look at rectifying this issue, also the hot tap in the Ladies needs replacing.

Lovely garden and Sunday Roast and Fish & chips were delicious. Great hospitality and very welcoming place.Definitely coming back.

The Vansittart Arms is a lovely pub with great service and a good atmosphere. The prices are good and the food is perfect. Highly recommend it if you are nearby. Well done to the chef will definitely come back.

From what I can remember and from bank statements the drinks are not overly expensive considering the Windsor tax. Latrines are mediocre at best. nice outside space to get some 'air'

Service by energetic Alex was good, food took 40 minutes to arrive, was total let down, fish and chips so disappointing, literally defrosted peas, overcooked chips and fish dripping in oil. The burger had bacon that had maybe 30 seconds on grill and all fat as a big white lump , very unpleasant, the burger meat itself had no seasoning .The chocolate hazelnut torte was chocolate orange that was just a defrosted unpleasant dessert. Had it not been for Alex we would have given 0 if only possible.

Thank you for the great experience.I ordered a meat feast pizza, that was too crunchy on the side. Stella Artois, that was poured in a hot (warm) glass. My fork and knife was served on the top of the pizza, and the tissue got not usable dirty. On my table there was a bottle from mineral water from the previous clients.So, the staff , they was friendly and smiling, but FOR ME, that's not enough. That bottle stayed till my leaving. There was no soucess with the pizza. That pizza was poorly done. Tasteless unless the spicy beef on it. Take it like graduating criticism.Thank you!
