Absolutely world-class dining, with outstanding food and service. The dining room is beautiful, although a bit loud at the peak of the evening. Every course, without exception, was presented beautifully and tasted wonderful. Unexpectedly, there was a complication with an allergy, something that should not happen in a restaurant of this calibre, or really any restaurant, but the staff and the Chef himself reacted very well to resolve the situation.Highly recommended.

Beautiful location. Stayed in la Riviera which is lovely apartment overlooking the river. Food in the evening was revolting. Bitter, over seasoned and not worthy of a motorway service station. God knows how they got 3 Michelin stars! Stay in the apartment but if you want something to eat pop up the road to the Hinds Head; superb

Classic French cooking done superbly well. Catered for this vegan with minimal fuss and dishes presented very similar to my partner. Loved it! Say it quietly, best meal in Bray.....

Very nice as usual. We had a private room due to size of party. I honestly prefer to be in the main dining room. Food was lovely as expected.

Fabulous and beautiful location without a doubt. Service slightly complacent due to reputation. Everything I had was cooked and served to a very high standard. My only grumbles were around information supplied by the somillier, he was not very forth coming with suggestions, it was an advantage the husband has a fair knowledge of wine to compensate. The other was around my feedback on my entrèe, this included an element I did not find pleasant and was not described on the menu or at point of ordering, if I’d known, I would have chosen something different. Every other element on the dish was to the highest standard and my feedback was done discreetly yet the waiters seemed slightly surprised by my feedback when invited to comment, and I was taken a back when I went for a comfort break to be asked again about my feedback, which I reiterated and enthused about the elements I enjoyed, and about my husbands dish. I admitted it was a mistake in regards to textural preference but if I’d known, I would have gone with a different choice. Unfortunately I was felt to be a little ashamed by feedback despite being careful about my critique (which I understand why given the reputation of the brand). We then went on to have the cheese course, which was devine and had an element of curation for me this was everything I could wish for and more. However, I would suggest an improvement on the cracker selection to include maybe some raisin and nut bread or lavash crackers. The rhubarb chutney which accompanied the cheese was paired wonderfully. The desserts were delightful , and the canelés made my birthday. I was also presented with a birthday plate and a little fuss at the end, which was well received. Breakfast in the morming was perfect and I was saddened to leave our well appointed room. I would return and I would stay again onsite but next time, I would like to leave thinking this is my most favourite place, at present it is not but still deserves 5 stars.

Myself and my daughter had received a voucher from my son in Canada for Le menu Exceptionell to celebrate my 70th birthday and the end of her treatment for breast cancer. We had the most amazing taster lunch of 7 courses. Every course was explained to us and how the chef would recommend it eaten. My daughter was not keen on one of the courses which was pigeon and they replaced it with a rack of lamb . Nothing was too much trouble. The service and the food was excellent. Even a birthday cake for me at the end. A fabulous treat. Thank you Waterside Inn, we will be back.

Excellent dining and experience. Absolutely loved it. The food was outstanding. Shame I couldn't have all the lovely dishes on the menu. All the little bits made the whole evening complete.

Had an amazing time here, the service was faultless, a special thanks to Molly who looked after us throughout our stay. Also was lovely to talk to Alain, who kindly gave my budding cake maker daughter @mollysbakes a beautiful signed cooking book, such a lovely gesture , will definitely visit again ***

Like all the best things in life this place does not shout like many of its peers. BUT. Having been to some pretty fancy restaurants this is above and beyond anybody else in the world. It's not cheap especially the tasting menu. But the food service and Ambiance are out of this world. No wonder so many famous and important people visit this place on a regular basis. Absolutely outstanding

Best Culinary experience I have had. Every item was perfectly cooked and complimented with the perfect sides. But beyond the food the experience as a whole was amazing, the staff go above and beyond to ensure you have a memorable experience. While highlighting service may sound trivial it truly uplifted our experience and left us with only happy memories.
