I don't do reviews often, but I feel genuinely compelled to share my experience after this service. If you haven't been to the White Hart since the change in ownership (very recently) and remember the food they used to do, do not expect even remotely the same quality as previously.Pros:> Inviting environment, good atmosphere> Attentive servers> Drinks arrived quicklyCons:> If I'd ordered the burger from an average local takeaway at 1am, I'd have been fine, but to wait over 40 minutes for something that is on par with a takeaway, it's really not worth the wait or the money> The lasagna was clearly pre-cooked and just microwaved to order, ours came surrounded by a puddle of grease> Servers were clearly over-stressedNow to be clear, the server dealt with the situation incredibly well, and was incredibly apologetic and polite, The bar looked to be very busy and had a solid atmosphere, so definitely somewhere I'd go for a pint. I just feel incredibly let down by the quality of the food and the appallingly long service times considering there was only 1 other table eating at the time

If I could give this pub 6 stars I would. Excellent honest pub food. My husband and I staying here overnight in our camping van as we have come from the north. Cannot in any way fault anything. Lovely staff, good size secure carpark nice and quiet. Great beer, bombshell. I had veg lasagne my husband had beef lasagne and brownie pud. Excellent coffee too. Great value for money.. thank you for a lovely evening staff at white Hart!!!!

Fantastic pub with very friendly staff stopped over night in the car park in the camper van on the way to legoland which is only a 10 minute drive away.Food was very nice and good sized portions looked after the kids too even though the menu was reduced due to covid.Booking was advised before arrival and we has an outdoor igloo which was brilliant including a heater and Rugs on the tables for warmth.All in all a gem of a place would definitely recommend a visit.

Nice lunch with a very longstanding friend (50+ years). Good straightforward pub type food. Limited choice but good.

Nice local pub,tucked out the way, good atmoshere and vibe, Great service from The assistant manager, chose simple food from the menu, which was tasty, with a nice pint of cider.

Just off M4 Stayed overnight in the campervan. Lovely food at a good price and the drinks weren't bad either! Great welcome in a lovely village pub.
