WOW! Been there today for the first time with my partner. We have absolutely loved it!The food was like no other pub food, it was fresh, delicious and very well presented. The vibe in the pub is amazing and the service is attentive and friendly.Will definitely be back!

We took my mum out for a drink and a few nibbles, we had a fab time. In fact, I would go as far as saying The Bird In Hand is one of the nicest pubs we have been to in a long while. Great service and yummy food.

What a lovely experience my family and I had there, we had some of the best service you could ask for from the whole staff. The starters we each had was excellent with the main course being amazing definitely a place to sit down with your family in the restaurant or a casual pint in the bar.

Probably the best pub lunch we've had in years. Cannot fault it. Would say it's relatively expensive but you definitely get what you pay for.

Ample parking, clean facilities, great food and service. Menu has a good choice and the portions are generous. Prices were commensurate with quality and quantity. Waitress was efficient and attentive without being overzealous and we were happy to leave a full tip. Ambience was the only (slight) negative, being what used to be a local pub, and having to squeeze through a crowd of youngsters in the bar to get to the dining area when we arrived but they had already gone by the time we left. Will definitely visit again.

Absolutely amazing experience! Superb food, very nice and professional staff, amazing ambiance in the garden under the tent with all romantic lights, just 5*. Will come back again for sure...

Stopped in for a couple of pints. Very nice pub with a large outdoor seating area. The staff were very nice and attentive. Would like to come back for a meal.

Ate at the pub today - first time.The staff were incredibly friendly, the garden area was lovely, the food was delicious (chorizo wrap, patatas bravas & a side salad) and the prices were reasonable.Will definitely return when in the area. A very worthy 5 stars!

Food was amazingly good. If you are here I recommend fish and chips and the bird in hand burger with chips! For dessert you cannot miss the sticky toffee. 100% recommended!
