Chennai Dosa Artisanz in Woking

The food was delicious and the staff very friendly and helpful. Great choice of authentic dishes which were well prepared. If like us you get carried away they are happy to bag up the leftovers for your lunch the next day! 😁

They should work on their Table booking rules. We were 5 and were not given a table when their website clearly says less than 6 people can just walk in !.. although we had send them an email for reservations before coming but had never gotten any reply. The food is nice.

Nice varied menu with some unfamiliar items (to me). The food was tasty and well cooked. The service was fantastic however. Very friendly and helpful front of house.

For people who live around Guildford where there is basically 0 good south Indian restaurants Chennai Artisanz is probably the only option, that being said the menu is so large that it'll give you a headache but the food is pretty good at a reasonable price. One thing disappointed me was the filter coffee, I'm just gonna say it's not filter coffee guys just try not to finish your brunch with coffee from here. But overall a good option when you are craving for South Indian food

After a long time we went to a restaurant that serves authentic South Indian cuisine. The staff was very kind and friendly. The food was super tasty. There is so many options to customise your dosas! Unlike many other restaurants, there was plenty of vegan and vegetarian options. The place had a nice ambience as well.Two things to keep in mind when visiting this place. There is no parking nearby, so you have to park either in the Woking station or the nearby mall(don’t remember the name).Secondly order everything you want in one go. Food takes a long time to arrive to your table.

As mentioned in the other reviews, the food is good. However, their service is poor which leads to a below average experience. When we are dining out, we always look for a nice experience which unfortunately isn't something you'll get at this place. However, if you have time to kill, go for it

I went there after having read all the bad reviews and was actually positively surprised that it wasn't that bad! The food was delicious 😋 service quite quick and efficient. I think the restaurant definitely has to work on creating an ambiance but the food was good and totally edible. Would recommend the saag paneer, pepper chicken curry, mushroom rice and kozhi 65 chicken bites. Mango lassi didn't dissapoint. Rasmalai wasn't my cup of tea. The coffee they serve there tasted like a ice cold canned coffee heated up. Overall ok experience.

Very Authentic cuisine, I had the Melei Fish and it was perfectly flavoured and just the right amount of spice, chilled atmosphere and staff very friendly, my partner had the Dosa’s and loved them. Will definitely be returning regularly.

Chennai Dosa is one of the best place place if you like South Indian food. Food is very authentic and staff is very polite and respectful. If you are planing to go there ghee roast is on of their best Dosa. Very recommend.
