China Chef in Woking

Used to be amazing take away but now delivery is always wrong and food not up to scratch, unsure what type of meat im eating!!

Very delicious Chinese food. I ordered three dishes from deliveroo to my house. The food came within 40 minutes so quite fast. I wouldn’tsay it’s really authentic as they change the recipes to cater local people’s taste, but the food is tasty. I would rate 4 out of 5 overall.

I always order from here as normally really good but this time 14/02/2022 it has given Me food poisoning.So would not recommend around a busy time of year.

Food is always lovely. Prices can be a little on a high end but service is always good, food is tasty, and staff are friendly.

We ordered again after having ordered yesterday and the hot and sour soup was not sour at all. We phoned and complained and a new soup was delivered within 10 minutes and it was 10 out of 10 again. They were so apologetic and professional and offered a refund or a new soup, we opted for the new soup and we had a note apologising and a free seaweed. The mixed meat curry and roast pork chow main was amazing and I can't praise them enough for rectifying the error. Very impressed and the new soup was as good as it was yesterday.

Quite honestly the worst Chinese food I have ever eaten. Tiny portions for huge prices, the dish I chose was swimming in oil so there was very little flavour which was overpowered by the taste of grease. If I wasn't as hungry as I was I wouldn't have eaten another bite, I only managed to finish half of my dish and was left feeling very ill as all I could feel was the oil sloshing around in my stomach. The meat in my partner's dish looked like it was either very old or from some poor sick animal. Do yourself a favour and avoid this place at all costs! 1 star review because at least it came in a box and they didn't just pour it in your lap, but that is the ONLY redeeming feature!

An outstanding chinese takeaway - hot and sour prawns were delicious, duck tender and superbly cooked, spring rolls light and crispy. Great value and swift delivery. Highly recommended.

Food was ordered at 7pm, deliveroo delivered it 8.45. the curry was rancid and a mush, the noodles were so greasy you couldnt eat them and the duck was the same. Went in the bin, it would make you ill.

Waited 2 hours for delivery that didn't arrive, had to go and collect from cold shop. Waited in the shop for a further 45 minutes. Shop was very busy, no social distancing at all. Will not be ordering from there again.

This place is truly amazing! The most delicious and tasty Chinese food I have ever had. The service is incredibly fast and delivered HOT. I regret not having cash to give the delivery guy a well deserved tip, I feel really bad.MOST HIGHLY RECOMMENDED my granddaughter introduced us to it she has used it for years. Well done China Chef!
