Crown and Anchor in Woking

A nice pub located in Old Woking. The exterior looks vibrant as the place stands out as clearly visible in the photos, absolutely loved this fact and it honestly caught my eye from far away whilst walking towards the pub.There's seating options available - inside as well as outdoors facing a small stream.The ambience is 10/10. There is a good variety available in terms of children's menu and a small play area for them. Definitely has a very homely and positive vibeA must visit if your around the place.

Friendly staff, nice garden. Stopped quickly to do some work and get some lunch but no food available. Not sure if it was too late at 2pm? Had a packet of crisps and juice.

We have started meeting friends at this pub, whether a chilled drink in the garden, or attending the fun pub quiz every other Monday, we always feel a warm welcome and very friendly staff

Love it, friendly atmosphere and perfect to pop in for a pint or food. Since reopening they do home made burgers, have a pizza oven and I can also recommend their steak night. Brilliant place

Would highly recommend the crown and anchor. Had such a pleasant friday lunch time there. The land lady was amazing and very customer focused. She was Very welcoming and willing to go out of her way to make our visit as pleasant as possible. They have a fantastic chef too. Food was 5* all the way cooked fresh to perfection in a reasonable time scale. There steak is 100% the best in woking.

Had a fantastic day. They celebrated at George's Day laid on entertainment. The new owners was very good and couldn't do enough for you well done crown and anchor keep it up

A lovely pub, great host and hostess. Great grub. Sunday roast excellent, with 2 serving sizes, large human or small human. Good selection of beers. We can't wait for the summer, when we can sit in the beer garden beside the river and maybe stay the night in one of their rooms.

A lovely family friendly, dog friendly pub. None of this modern bar pretentiousness. Good food, good drink, good service including table service. A great kids area. Old school family pub feel with the small details thought about.After so long shut, it's great for the local area to have this place open again and the new owners doing it properly. Long may it continue. We will be back.

First time back since they reopened and what an improvement! Had the burger and pizza which were both great. Really good value for money and friendly and welcoming service. Thanks so much! We had a lovely time

Dietary restrictions well catered for and staff team were very welcoming and it was a lovely family birthday celebration. Made to feel normal, food was lovely and coffee was a good brew too! Thanks 👍👍👍
