Always great meals here a bit expensive but then you get for what you pay for really so in my book we'll worth every penny

We always come here and appreciate the quality of food and service. Because they cook to order, normally we preorder on their website and collect later. A well-organised place!

Great food, good staff BUT please check your order before you leave. Our order has been short on three occasions recently. Maybe the staff was too busy but SO very annoying to drive all the way home to find that half of your food is missing. A proper inconvenience and disappointing.On the first two occasions they simply forgot to put the food in the bag! Just carelessness.The problem on the last occasion was that a telephone order had been made and received correctly, but the internal communication was poor so the order was not fulfilled.I was then told to place future orders online but what’s the point of offering a telephone ordering service? - and by their own admission the telephone order had been received properly (so it wasn’t a problem with the ordering process!).Obviously nonsense and clearly they were struggling on a busy Friday evening (50 mins wait from time order was placed).An apology was given and accepted quickly so no problem at all, but I will be sure to double check the order next time.Otherwise a very nice friendly local chippy.

Very nice meal, the fish could have done with another minute of cooking, but on the whole very good. There is plenty of chips and haddock is big, if your appetite is small like ours, we are thinking of sharing one meal.

£3.80 Lunch Meal Deal (Battered Sausage & Chips)£1.45 Curry Sauce(THIS PLACE TAKES CARD PAYMENTS)Not a bad price and was all cooked fresh as well, this did mean waiting outside for 5 minutes (Due To COVID) but it’s nice to see them following rules and only allowing 1 person in at a time.Quality of the food was good as well, and the portion size although not massive I would say the perfect size, especially for lunch.One thing that made this place/meal stand out was the face it was put into a cardboard box instead of being thrown into some paper wrap.The curry sauce was actually sauce and not watery like some places, it could be used for dipping your chips what was good.I would rate this place 9/10 and the only reason I have marked it down one is because the battered sausage was pretty greasy what they always are but this was a little extra greasy compared to normal

Their fish and chips are, quite simply, out of this world. The batter is light and crispy, and the chips are proper chip shop, chips. Staff are very friendly and the premises spotless.I travel all the way from New Haw as no other place nearby even comes close to the quality at Horsell Fish & Chips.
