Janes Upstairs in Woking

I love eating in this restaurant. The food is cooked fresh to order and the fish is fresh and delicious. I love variety of fish, the refills of chips and yummy traditional puddings. The staff are so lovely and welcoming too.

Great fish and chips (obviously as its fried downstairs!). Excellent service and homemade tartare sauce. Theres a few more items on the menu I think. I'm not too sure on the prawns they bring out upstairs. They're a bit small, haven't been deveined and are served on a little cracker

Enjoyed a lovely meal. The staff are always friendly and polite. The food is excellent and well prepared. Would recommend strongly.

What a lovely place to eat. Our favourite place for fish and chips.. it tastes amazing and you are never disappointed.. I can't wait to come back.. love it..

I'm a regular at Jane's Upstairs I've never been let down with the food. The waiters and waitresses are extremely friendly. Always quick to offer help on choices of food.The food is inexpensive and is great for a crowds.

Omg. Simply the best fish and chips. The moby dick was a piece of cod that had everything except the harpoon. Chip were great as were the pickles. I like this place because it’s not trying to be anything other than a friendly space for family and friends to gather and just eat fish and chips. Oh and few special deserts I feel duty bound to mention the butterscotch tart. I had to buy two extra to take home.

Mixed opinions on this place to be honest. A couple times I've had fish and chips from here and it's been lovely. Other times it's been bad, but today it was RAW. Not happy.

Great place and food, upstairs (yes there is a downstairs too!) is a nice place for a meal with friendly and polite table service. Well run and clearly very popular (queue outside when we went). And Jane is lovely too!

The best fish and chips around, served in style in a lovely restaurant by incredible staff. Nothing ever seems to be too much of a problem. Thoroughly recommended.
