Very friendly staff and very good food and delivery is good aswell

Just ordered a takeaway from The Golden House.2 - Pancake Roll £2.80. Tasted okay.10 - Peppered Salted Prawns £7.20. Was awful. Dry, overcooked and tasteless.112 - King Prawns Szechuan Style £7.50. The dish looked okay on opening but was awful. The food had absolutely no flavour whatsoever and was watery.120 - Egg Fried Rice £3.70. Was okay.152 - Mushroom Chop Suey £5.30. The mushrooms were big and cut in half. Would have been nicer to have them sliced. No flavour whatsoever.I was really looking forward this meal but was bitterly disappointed. I’m sorry to say this was the worst takeaway we’ve had.

First time ordering from here. The food was hot and steaming even when i got it home, portions were very generous and the chicken satay was delicious.

Free delivery radius is 3 miles, we live within 1.5 miles, got told it wasn’t free delivery. Fortunately this allowed me to realise ordering food from them would’ve been my next mistake.

Was recommended to the New Golden House and have tried it twice and both times absolutely delicious. Ordered tonight and very disappointed, every dish was dry and very chewy as if it was a few days old. Absolutely gutted

I ordered take away from here, for myself and friends, I am vegan as well as not being able to have gluten which I specifically said over the phone 3 times just rice with mushrooms and is safe. We received our order just before 10pm. By the time I went to dish it out, it had egg in. I tried to call just after 10pm literally and absolutely no answer, or no answerphone to let them know, so I went without whilst my friends ate.Not happy at all!

Despite there being 2 other Chinese takeaways very nearby we always choose this one. Why? Because the food is never disappointing, great and consistent quality. Yum!

Food is always excellent. Hot and full of flavour. The use of fresh garlic, ginger, chillies etc is vital - compared to other Chinese restaurants. Well done!

Best in Town!We order often and never been let down. Tasty and piping hot food at great price. If you not local and just passing by, building doesn't do justice. They concentrate all effort on the food! Well done guys....

I was very disappointed with the quantity and quality of the food. Ordered a pork dish but should of just ordered cabbage as the dish was mainly that which was not in the description..it was disgusting and the meat was mainly fat.. £6.50 in the bin. The mushroom curry dont have it, the mushrooms were all spongy obviously frozen.. the chips were cold and dry..I wish I just made myself a sandwich..never ever again..
