It's a chain, what do you expect! Cold beer, service was good. Up market weather spoons...

Good beer and reasonable food. TV was a bit loud, as were the punters shouting at the screen but pleasant enough evening

Decent food at great price :) staff were super nice as well. Kids menu is fantastic value & it felt friendly and welcoming for the family around lunchtime, they even provided kids activities 😀

Met a friend in Woking for a drink this evening and were refused admission to the pub by the security staff (alongside another couple of blokes in front of us) on the basis "that they had staff shortages" so couldn't cope with the extra demand. The pub has big glass windows and it was clearly not very busy. Two out of the four of us happened to be non-white.So we went over the road to the pub opposite (Slug and Lettuce) and sat in a window seat, with a view of the O'Neills' security staff admitting everyone else to the pub without question. I can only assume they resolved their staff shortages a minute or two afterwards.Either that or we inadvertantly stumbled into a 1970s time-warp. If this was the case, as we weren't allowed to enter the establishment, I am sadly unable to confirm whether Woking O'Neill's accept Irish patrons, or dogs.

Came to Woking after a day at tingle creek at Sandown racecourse. I was ready to write Woking off after receiving terrible service at the slug and Lettuce and sovereigns. We were looking for accessibility access because my brother in law is in a wheelchair. Ethan at O’Neill’s was fantastic. He accommodated all our accessibility needs and made us feel so welcome. It wasn’t just that but we really enjoyed ourself. The barstaff were very friendly and interested in us which is rare in 2021. He couldn’t do enough for us. It tourned it around for our whole family and everyone loved it.

Apparently this pint just bought at the bar 2 sips and its flat is OK by the bar staff

First Time in O'Neill's. I'm a bit picky where I eat! My mate choose this place, I would have picked another venue in Woking. Pleasantly surprised, menu was very small but that seems to be the norm these days. Staff friendly. Table and chairs clean. Order and pay at bar with table number. Choose the cheese and bacon burger and triple cooked chips, which was very nice. Good choice of drinks. Would I eat there again, yes. I recommend this place, good value for money. You may get a better burger in Woking but you will pay double the price!! Pudding menu was very small.

When I think of what an O'Neil's should be, the Woking location is what I think of.The staff are friendly, the place is spacious and food and drink are very reasonably priced. The bar runs almost the whole length of the building, and getting served even at peak times is never too difficult. This location also has live music, with some of the best local bands around!Street parking is a catastrophe though, so you may have to walk a good while or plan on getting a cab.
