Rajput in Woking

My friend booked a table online two weeks ago and received confirmation, but when we arrived no booking had been catered for. Aside from this unimpressive beginning, food an service were very good.

Took my CEO friend here from Sri Lanka. It's a local curry house catering for the local Caucasian English clientele.

We love Indian food and are decidedly fussy about where we eat…so feel very fortunate to have this restaurant local to us; the food is delicious, the staff are friendly and efficient…undoubtedly one of the best Indian restaurants in the area.

Been going to the Rajput for 17 years - it is consistently the best Indian food in the UK I have ever had - and I have travelled all over the whole of the UK through work over these years. Lovely staff, great menu and top food every time.

Just had takeaway methi lamb and chicken madras to celebrate our 65th Wedding Anniversary. The food was excellent, delivery was on time and the price reasonable in direct contrast to a recent meal from another local Indian takeaway which was dreadful. Well done Rajput.!!

I went to the Rajpuy without a reservation looking for a table. They were full, fine. They said I could come back in an hour, ok. I returned in an hour and they did not give me a table even though someone was paying and just about to leave. And this was on a Wednesday mid week, wow. Food may be good but the waiter was rude sorry to say. He should have said just to leave and not come back which I would have been happily obliged to do (rather than make me waste an hour).
