Superfish in Woking

Excellent fish and chips in Jane's Upstair, also lovely rose wine with a reasonable price!

This has been my family's go-to restaurant for generations. Incredible food (especially the haddock) and even better people. Lovely, friendly and tasty!! And the little prawns are to die for. Would 1000% recommend to a friend. Many thanks to them and look forward to seeing you soon 💗

Very disappointed, having seen good reviews was expecting good food. Ordered x2 small cod and chips and x1 large. All the fish had burnt batter with dark charcoaled areas, the fish and chips smelt and sadly were overpowered by the taste of old oil, which they were soaked in. As per other comments not sure if just bad day but seems not just a one off.

Unreliable! Today fish was overcooked, undersized for a "Large", old oil taste - but chips were OK. Real shame as last time everything was really great. Do not think I will go again, other more reliable places nearby!

Absolutely delicious. Ordered for the first time from here on Xmas. Everything we ordered was top class. We had cod, battered sausage and chicken balls and chips, would struggle to choose my favourite between them. Not the cheapest chip shop but good value considering portion size and quality

Had lovely chips and sausage in here staff very friendly and very accommodating 5 stars all the way. Highly recomended

Soggy batter and small portions. The soggy batter seems to be the big sticking point here, was hoping it would get better but sorry to say it hasn't. Chips were ok.Similar reviews seem to say the same things.
