The Sovereigns in Woking

This place was on our list of places to visit after receiving recommendations from family.The pub has a great vibe and ambience, the wait staff is courteous and helpful in general.The place is child friendly( also has a child menu too) we had our toddler along with us for a Sunday lunch.I've added the photos of the dishes - fish and chips & pork ribs and chicken wings, that we ordered for reference so that it helps you to decide 😉.There is a huge list to choose from for cocktails and wines.Being a Sunday, we reached around 11.45 am and the Sunday roasts were out of stock( disheartened on this).Will definitely try to visit this place again to try other varieties of dishes.

Good location but was really let down by the food. Yes the portions were generous and price was decent but all our dishes tasted cheap. The wings were overdone, the burger tasted bland with what looked like tesco value bread.The cocktails tasted like cordial mixes. The issue might be high expectation from London pubs though. Staff were friendly though. Overall we were disappointed but for the price I guess it's worth it.

Love The Sovereigns for being so chilled, such a relaxing pub vibe. Bar staff, and all the staff, are courteous and attentive. I've not tried the food, but friends who have continue to enjoy it, regularly ordering from the menu. A decent outdoor seating area, and it gets packed pretty quick on fair days. Terrific location and free parking too.

Really nice food at good prices. We had the dipping burger and I would certainly recommend it!Staff were helpful and welcoming.Do friendly, we took our puppy for his first pub visit, sat outside, at the back of the pub in lovely sunshine.

Really enjoyed our meal. Althought there was an issue in the kitchen that meant some of the menu wasn't available. My family where able to order what they wanted and I thoroughly enjoyed what I had as an alternative.

The food was good, service brilliant. The manager, Gemma, was so helpful, moving tables turning on the fireplace, making sure we were comfortable; absolutely client focussed. Thank you, Gemma, we'll be back 😊

Great pub. Cosy feel for a big pub. Clean, well furnished, good choice of ales and lagers and well above average pub grub...especially for a chain. Sports shown with ample seating. Friendly staff. Professional management and free parking.. Spot on!

Good choice of beers. Good quality food. Handy for the railway station.

I never imagine that kind of dish. It's really big! Spent about £15 for an ultimate double burger and a pint of Peroni. Cheaper than McDonald considered the size and uncompared quality. Staff was helpful. Very satisfied!
