Staff very friendly..service excellent..food very good and good value for your money. Accomodation is fair. No major issues.. parking is very tight especially when works vans stay overnight..always worried someone would clip my car and clear off.. but lucky so far I think.

What a disappointment this were. Went here for Sunday roast with a few colleagues. Admittedly it were late afternoon but the food and service were just unbelievably bad. Only 2 of us had roast and I got 1 slice of dried out turkey with the usual trimmings including brussel sprouts which were more like overgrown peas. As for the service, the two roast were brought out 1st followed by 2 other meals about 30 mins later and the last meal at least another 5 mins later. Empty plates were just left on the table and no apology for the slow/lack of service. We had to cancel our desserts as we ran out of time. Will never set foot in here again and it will be better for the catering industry if they just closed the doors for good.

Great! Quieter than The Sovereigns and staff are friendly. Easy to order drinks either at the bar or via the Ember Inns app.

We attended a wake there and the staff and food provided were excellent ,however the evening meal we had the previous night was alful, i had the Katsu curry, the sauce was so salty it was inedible and my partner had a steak which really was not good.

Stayed at the hotel for first time staff were amazing here helpful very friendly but room I stayed in was old dated and the shower was cold and after a hard days work was really looking forward to a nice warm shower or bath. Stayed on one of the ground floors so heard creeking floors most of the night and early morning. Apart from that staff great food was great had morning breakfast lots to eat and quality produce too. Thanks very much but please sort water out and noisey floors...

A number of us turned up today for a block Christmas booking.Menus, deposits had been made well in advance.Person organising meal confirmed matters days ago.On turning , we were told, steak off menuNo prior warning. As there were 14 of us we wanted to set up tabs, per couple etc so the whole table wasn’t faced with a final bi.Staff found this both difficult to comprehend and set up.Meal was ok, but some food not properly cooked or not piping hot.

Delicious food, good special prices, warm ambiance. Excellent staff - 2 women who did it all with a smile. Definitely recommend

I stayed here for 2 weeks when working in Woking the hotel is decent and rooms are cheap and cheerful around £50 a night for single and £60 a night for double which includes a free breakfast bag (they cannot do cooked breakfast with current covid rules). The rooms come fully equipped with a fan and toiletries.I ate in the pub most nights the food is okay standard pub food they do 2 courses for £12 which is decent and you can order to tour table via and app so better for social distancing.I recommend the Japanese chicken for starters and the burgers for main.

Came for Sunday lunch. My wife had excellent grilled sea bass and I had delicious, melt in the mouth roast sirloin. The puddings were good, too. All served by friendly staff: attentive but not obtrusive. First visit for many years, but will definitely be back.

Friendly staff, made to feel welcome. Lots of deals on the Ember Inns app... 20% off the main menu with the AA app. Food generally pub classics, done quickly but good for what it is. We go back often. I think the food is very good value for money if you use the set menu or get a discount off the main.
