The Yeoman Harvester in Woking

Lovely waitress, clean restaurant. Great place to bring our daughters. Cheep and cheerful. Salad bar is always a winner . A good way to kill time on a wet, cold, windy afternoon.

Typical harvester fare. Reasonable portions of reasonable food reasonably well cooked in a reasonable atmosphere. Staff were very helpful and friendly. Some decent vegan options.

We arrived late due to unexpected road closures, were told on phone that it wasn't a problem. Good welcome taken straight to our table where our guests were already seated. Explanation of rules to cover what is left of Covid regulations. We had salads, served for us which were fresh and tasty. Mains of ribs, one half chicken, one gammon steak, all served quickly, piping hot and well cooked. Staff all very pleasant, only negative was brown rolls were very pale and somewhat firm. Otherwise a very enjoyable evening celebration.

Fantastic waiting staff who always manage to keep a smile and chipper disposition even when the resteraunt is heaving. Great food for great value. My server Niki was attentive and cheery and the manager Barry always makes us feel warm and welcome.

Meal was average, the salad bar always good, dated decor. If you're wanting a civilised dining experience, this restaurant is probably not for you with ill disciplined kids running around tables and their parents as ill mannered.

Had a takeaway and wasn't as per menu.We are quite regular to Harvester and we pretty know the menu and what you get on a plate. Quite a few items missing of the takeaway order. When tried to contact the restaurant about it, nobody answered the phone. Not usually order takeaway from Harvester but was expecting the same on the plate as eating in.Good luck

Staff were lovely and really apologetic however there was no ribs, chicken skewers, breaded chicken and only one portion of the chilli noncarnie (2 of our party wanted this) so a lot of menu choices were not possible with these missing items. When we were first seated we weren't told about what wasn't available so we only found out when our order was finally taken (almost 25 mins after being seated) which prolonged the ordering process even more. It is still annoying that the staff have to serve our salad when we can get our own refills and it's touching the same touch screen so what is the difference? We had a party of 10 so it took a while to get the salad! When food arrived, 2 of the mixed grills only had 4oz steaks when we ordered 8oz so extra was made but these didn't come out until 10-15 mins later when the rest of the food was already eaten, the majority of the food was ok but not worth the money in my opinion. Again we know it was not the waitresses fault and she apologised but no discount was applied to our bill but by the end of the meal we just wanted to go. Unfortunate experience.

Our evening was perfect. Food was delicious and table very clean. Ella our waitress was very helpful and friendly and great with the kids, she also made some great recommendations on the new waffle puddings. We were given s a chair for our disabled guest so she had easy access to the salad bar and toilet . Thank you
