Baranda Restaurant in Wokingham

Went into Baranda for the first time last night for hubby’s birthday. There were 10 of us and all our food was amazing. Everything arrived hot and tasty and there was plenty of naan and poppadoms to go round. The staff were really welcoming and attentive and I give give them 5 stars!

My meal was delicious and well presented, the staff were attentive and kind. Linens bright white. Glassware and cutlery shining. Adults and kids all enjoyed their visit.

Great for your classic over lagered Brit with a limited palate - which is great just not for me. Completely understands its target market - Wokingham. Also food arrived half hour early which is not convenient. Never seen a butter chicken look like it's had marcapone/coconut cream mixed through it. The lettuce and tomato in a plastic bag summed up the quality. Overall, Is have rather had toast.

Went for the Sunday buffet. Well worth for the money. Tastier food, calm environment and friendly waiters. Definitely will go again.

A nice relaxed evening and a nice meal. We were never rushed by the friendly staff. Only negative was a couple of noisy pre-Christmas groups that made conversation a little difficult.

I wanted to put 2.5 starsWe had a bad experience last time, as it took 90 min to get our starter and another 40 min more for our main course to arrive.What wasn't nice, is that nobody was at least coming to see us to ask us if we wanted a drink and something else while waiting.The food is good, the nans were freshly baked which made the experience less bad.It was an unfortunate day I guess.

We had an amazing family meal here last month. The service was excellent and the food was absolutely delicious! The best pasanda I have had in a long time!

I've visited Baranda twice and both times have been amazing. The hospitality and attentiveness of the staff is unmatched and the food is divine. Their selection of food is fantastic, with a menu that caters to any and all people.My one and only complaint would be that the Onion bhaji leave a bit to be desired. they're fairly thin, not very crunchy and lack flavour. They strike me as frozen down and reheated. However, the rest of their food for me has been amazing: to start with Poppadoms here is also a must. Their selection of dips/Sauces alongside these are great and there is a plentiful amount of everything.Cannot recommend this wonderful Indian restaurant enough!

We were welcomed ! Ordered food and drinks all ok !! Food came to us Cold and my Prawns in the Byrani were raw !! Sent all food back not a very good experience when you take your wife out for treat . Hopefully the next time they will improve!! Would not recommend!! Very disappointed 😔

Best curry we’ve had in a long time, grabbed a take away. Super tasty food. Will be ordering our currys here moving forward.
