Had an absolute brilliant night out with the live music and the beer choice was great. Even though it was very busy at the bar, you got served quickly enough so no complaints from me there. The staff were very lively which was great to see. So if you like your music and beer then you this the place for you.

We visited for Sunday lunch. Warm greeting, friendly atmosphere and made to feel welcome. The roast…. Well it was the best pub roast I’d had in a long time. Well cooked, piping hot. We didn’t have to wait too long either.I will look forward to going back again.

Visited here the Saturday before Xmas. Fantastic welcome and a great meal served in the snug room at the front. Fantastic pub well worth a visit.

Decent beers and ambience, the pub now has sky sports for live football. Looking forward to going back soon.

Food was brilliant, all served together despite being a large group. Staff were friendly and chatty. Kids were catered for nicely too. There was an ingredient missing for one of the desserts, but the chef came out to apologise and offered a creative alternative instead - great personal touch!!

We’ve been going to this pub for years, it’s basically where we meet to start our evening. This visit to Wokingham was no different, I ordered a large gin and tonic and a beer. All drinks were being served in plastic cups…. So £12 ish for a large g and t served in a small plastic beaker, by the time you’ve got the gin, ice, lemon in the cup there was basically no space for tonic. The other option was to put it in a pint glass…. I was given a number of reasons why plastic was being used, pretty sure they weren’t recyclable either. Don’t get me wrong I’m happy to drink out of a plastic cup but there are certain drinks where this just doesn’t work. I’d suggest some flexibility on this rule. But pretty sure the plastic option will stay. Plenty more pubs in Wokingham and they’re even using glass.

Lovely place with great food and drinks choice. The only downside is the smoking outside wafts in to the garden area. The staff do push people outside though

Whilst visiting relations in the area we were taken here and I loved the Pub. Excellent choice of real ales, the lady serving us allowed us to sample a small taster of beers we were interested in buying. The pub had a nice atmosphere and would visit again.

Couldn't be more disappointed by the experience we had tonight. we where greeted by a lady who was very aggressive and rude towards us. Its not how you want to be welcomed into a pub. We then ordered food, which took over an hour to receive. I decided to get the nachos which i was thoroughly disappointed in. Not only was the cheese not melted, it was stone cold. I was charged an extra few pounds which i wasn't too fused about but after receiving my meal i was quite outraged. My friends had similar experiences with their food. I wont be visiting again and highly recommend you dont.
