Crooked Billet Pub in Wokingham

A pleasant walk to the pub although the roads don't have pavements and much of the traffic simply goes too fast. Regardless, a great place to rest your feet and enjoy a few real ales.

Lovely staff, great food, excellent portions!

Last minute booking for a Sunday roast. Accommodated perfectly and the food was a solid 10/10! Portions are large and quality was great! They even accommodated the dog with treats and water! Will definitely be a returning customer.

Came here for a late lunch on a weekday. Cozy and friendly atmosphere. Absolutely loved the calve liver main - tender and very delicious. Not so happy with the rib eye - sort of too thin for what we’re used to with a rib eye steak; the skinny chips were fresh and yummy! Also loved the toffee pudding!

Amazing Sunday roasts here, great food, great friendly service. Well worth a visit. We will be going back again and again.

Nice friendly pub. Nice cosy atmosphere. Wide range of food.

Arrived at CB after a 6 mile walk and we were immediately shown to our table with drinks ordered and brought to us very quickly, thankfully. Between the six of us we ordered Lamb, Pork and Beef roasts, 2 nutloaf and 1 salad which were all very good and devoured with no complaint. The staff were very friendly and helpful.

Lovely pub with a lovely garden, but the food was very disappointing. I had the ham, eggs and chips, l had to send back my first lot of chips, they were dark brown. My replacements were a better colour, but they were skin- on and very greasy. The ham was one slice from a packet. The eggs were the only nice part of the meal.

I haven't been here for 20 plus years, and decided to swing by whilst in the area. Lots of car parking, and the setting is beautiful.We were greeted warmly and immediately offered the choice of inside or garden tables. Service was excellent, sat down and immediately served drinks, and passed menus.Food was delicious.A tucked away gem, thoroughly recommended.

Having never visited this pub before, my experience was fantastic! Good food, well kept ale and friendly staff in a picturesque venue. What more could you ask for?
