Elephant & Castle in Wokingham

Enjoyed an excellent fish, chips and peas with Prosecco on Friday for the Fish and Fizz night. First time for me at the Elephant and Castle. Cooked freshly, staff, first class and friendly. Afterwards, sat in the beer garden to finish the Prosecco which was very pleasant. Must try a Sunday roast soon. Highly recommend!

Spacious indoor and outdoor, comparatively cheap, clean toilets. All one needs.

A proper little country (ish) pub with a garden and more importantly the servers were so friendly and welcoming! Food was great, rustic and simple pub food. It is so simple but so hard to do these days apparently!We went here to watch the Euro 2020 football final (England vs Italy) and the servers were instantly so warm, smiley and friendly! There was a nice buzz inside the pub and they brought out plates of chilli at half time for all the people watching 😍The food was really good rustic, basic pub food without any of the pretentions of other pubs which have tried to be more "upmarket". Portion sizes were brillliant. A nice mix of people were in the pub too and it was what you want from a pub: a relaxing time to have a bit of fun in a buzzing atmosphere.

After walking out of the Green man due to poor service I only just beat my cold Stella to my table! Also they have redesigned the garden which is very nice

Were driving past and thought were would go in for a quick drink.They had outdoor seating to the front which wasn't sheltered and seating in the back under a marquee. We went in about 6.30pm and it was rather cold; just as well the waitress bought out blankets, that were wrapped in plastic. It was a shame they didn't have an outside heating.Nice atmosphere and the waitress was lovely, smiling, cheerful and very pleasant.We didn't eat though the food did look good.Would definitely go back.

Great Service , Really nice friendly family run pub. They have a little problem with the meaning of the word "light" as the portions are huge. 😁 All our meals were great choices
