GAIL's Bakery Wokingham in Wokingham

Pleasant airy café and shop. Very good coffee. Staff very friendly. Cake selection was a bit limited but maybe because we arrived mid-afternoon and a lot had been sold by then.

was bitterly disappointed with my experience at gails. the staff were rude, uninterested and one completely ignored us. food was ridiculously overpriced ( £5 for a sandwich) however the cinnamon bun was quite nice hence the two stars

Quite pricey, high chairs uncomfortable, they refuse to take money (even though it is the legal currency of our country) whilst the majority of other shops, coffee shops and bakeries now all do. Won't be going back. Coffee nice but no better than most other high Street chains. Temperature a little below that preferred by one of our party.

Always visit when in Wokingham, has great coffee and bites to eat. Extremely high quality and tasty food/drink in a very nice re-developed area of town.

Awful past couple of visits, you at least want your hot cross bun…”hot”…don’t you?! Apparently covid has forced them to stop toasting things…😂Overpriced for awful coffee and rock hard cake…oh and a cold cross bun!Plenty of other coffee shops in Wokingham to recommend.Update - how long does it take for a refund to go back on the card...painful

Fab, wokingham has needed one of these for years... freshly cooked bakery... yummy.. friendly staff... still the same as it was before...

Incredible food and best service. Always warm and good quality. Recommend the ham and cheese croissant 100%.

Always good. Never realised how much i missed a decent cappuccino in crockery. Staff helpful and efficient, amazing selection of goodies and also prepared to order brunch options. Sun hits the outside seating around 1130 for a few hours 🤗

A nice place to stop off at for a take out coffee and sit on the public seats in the square. A modern coffee house with bakery and salad/sandwich options.

So glad Gail’s have ventured out of London. They’re probably currently the only decent cafe in Berkshire serving great quality coffee and cake.The staff are friendly, warm and welcoming. I’ve already been several times and already looking forward to my next visit.The store manager Lam is especially cool and makes everyone feel valued and at home!
