Great local Indian takeaway bursting with flavour.Slightly expensive for delivery however but I believe this is more the charges you get for ordering via the apps such as just eat rather than them directly.Would highly recommend to all those local to the area.

Great on banquet night (Wednesdays) for Β£14.95 you can have a starter, main, side and rice or naan. The service is excellent and everything we ate was delicious, even the day after as leftovers!

Delicious Jalfrezi & pilau rice. This place never fails!

Ordered online, only to be told when I arrived they hadn't received the order. I understand technology can go wrong, but the money had left my bank account. I showed them this on my phone, and asked if I could tell them what I ordered so they could just make it now. They were super rude, left me waiting ages. Shoved a phone at me with someone I assume was the manager, who just hung up on me. Then they told me there's nothing they can do. So I asked or my money back and they said no. So I have left with no food and no money. Really poor service and theft at the end of the day. I have been using gaylord for around 18years and the last time I ate in the service was very poor too. Perhaps there has been a change in staff or management recently. I won't be going again now.

Very good food. Large portions and service is well organised. Plenty of dishes to choose from. You can also use JustEat facility for takeaway

Fantastic! I had a Malai Kofta that reminded me of when I first had it in Bundi, India. Everything else we ordered was spot on. Delivered exactly when they said they would. Can't fault it. Have eaten in all the other Twyford Indian Restaurants and have decided that this is my favourite!

Had a takeaway and it was really good. However, tried eating-in twice and both times disappointing. The first time they refused to accept the Taste Card while still listed as part of the scheme. This scheme attracts customers to the restaurant, it's a mutual benefit; it doesn't work if restaurants are allowed to refuse to honour the deal. I realise times are tough, but they are tough for all of us. We wouldn't be able to afford to eat out so often and support such businesses without these schemes.Decided to try again, were told they could 'squeeze us in', they seemed to mean literally: social distancing not observed, masks not worn, other customers so close to us that they were physically brushing past us. Despite the government paying for the EOTHO scheme, have started adding 10% cover charge to bills which they are not open about in advance. Do not appreciate stealth service charge, especially when service was lacking (they were busy but were heavily staffed), EG: wrong drinks brought twice, constantly talking past me to my (male) partner. Also chosen not to pass on VAT discount - fine, but these things put together result in basically overcharging people unfairly.Food is good but overall, not very customer focused - greed taking precedence over all else. Times are hard for everyone at the moment, its not fair to take advantage, people remember these things when times are better.
